I hope as much energy goes into helping ppl with there issues as has trying to screw with things on the os in the future here. Alot of ppl could really use it.

Don't worry, there will be plenty of help available on this site. This site was created to continue the mission that started over there. But without the corporate ownership that turned that site in to a massive billboard.

I get that completely! Maybe it's just me but I see more responses to threads like this than to the ones that are looking for help here right now. Am I wrong?

I was thinking the same thing, it's allowing me to go into my write up posts and get all my goodies organized so I can bring them over here

It's funny, because on my old posts on Trailvoy, you responded to one, but your post doesn't show up for me. You can see where someone responded to you and your name comes up, but your post isn't there.

They changed my avatar from the GMTNation logo back to no picture, so I changed it back. However, under my vehicle description, it let me put GMT Nation for everything (vehicle color, engine, drivetrain, model, etc.). So weird.

But 100% of the ones I see that I can add value to are getting answered. Especially the ones where I led the OP back from the OS before the great ban. There are maybe a dozen tech threads now going, I think. Other than Audio stuff where I'm not the specialist.

Remember, this is a brand new site and there will be some transition time involved. TV didn't bloom in to a wealth of information overnight.

I'm sure it didn't. Just asking for the vets/staff to show the rest of us the "right" path. Like it or not they are the big brothers (sisters, didn't meen to exclude anyone) in this situation. Set an example.... I know the toes that have been stepped on by some are still sore. The sooner things get focused on the members here the better. Hopefully the rest of the os will see this is the best place for them as well like everyone has said.

I am in total agreeance with Jman on this one. The more we feed them, the longer they live. Answering questions over there isn't going to solve anything. We cannot link this site, so why not let everything remain unanswered? People will seek the answers elsewhere, here if we put some real effort in.....

I say those that are not banned just try to lay low if you are going to stay a member and pull info from there as we need it. I have been trying to gather stuff that I input into posts over there.

They nuked another post of mine, which by the way didn't link here or even purposely hint at the name of the site. It was just was my opinion that they were doing the wrong thing by banning and censoring things and site names instead of simply fixing the problems that were chasing people away. They deleted the post and also anyone else's who quoted me or agreed with me. I guess the truth hurts, so in their mind they'd rather just ignore it

I suppose I should stop going over there and browsing around at all and just empty out my profile.
