Took a break from troubleshooting to troll the old site and came across this thread, posted by one of our new members. Got to the bottom where the content Trailvoy residents were posting, and see that one mentioned GMTN by name, and the site didn't auto correct it. Maybe it's because there's no .com? Although I thought that part didn't matter before

Vertical Scope initially slapped the traditional BANNED status on the jailbreak ringleaders. And edited any mention of the forum split. And banned other members who refused to stop discussing it. Classic behavior from their "Jailbreak Damage Containment" playbook. They've had to do it on many (most?) of the forums they've Borged.

Members continued to hammer them about how in the world could the ENTIRE staff all get banned overnight? WTF, they were crying out. The Roadie....BANNED?!?!?!?!

"No longer with us" was a highly effective recruiting tool for GMTNation, they were so heavy-handed in their response. So blatantly greedy that they might lose eyeballs to a non-profit site.

So VS came up with the new status "No longer with us" as if we had silently died overnight. And future searchers might think we'd all sold our GMT360s and moved on.

It's like a badge of honor that they never had such a sudden and total departure, that they invented this status and I might have been the first they gave it to.

Lying sacks o' shit, they are. They have no honor.

I didn't even get the banned message. I went to log in and the password didn't work. No email, no reason, and I don't show up on member lists. I never made any posts or pms with that account so I don't know what the deal is.

I still believe that there is at least one new moderator. I think he does what that little peckerwood TrailblazrI6 did and logs in invisibly.

I am trying to remember who we banned over there. The list was a lot shorter than you would think. When we opened up shop here we gave a clean slate to everyone. No old grudges were allowed. I doubt the VS admin would have deleted anything from the banned list over there, so whoever it is would still technically be banned. Beats me.
