Wth, I need to make a meet! Think I got some modbug in my eye now.

How heavy, lbs, is the front metal bumper?

Rearranged the vehicles so that it would be easier to get out in the morning.

Jetta is in the front.

80 lbs maybe. Depends on options. I can still take mine off and on alone, but its not the easiest thing.

Cool. Assumed much more. Can it take a "beating"? Think I convinced myself not to. Thoughts on metal bumper NOT lifted??? Not feeling it quite yet. I want lights. And Mikekey to tell us how he did with his front bumper light bar.

Regulators took out a couple deer without any damage.

Bumper with no lift...not sure why how you justify the expense.

Lots ways to get lights up front that are far cheaper. Pull the plastic cover off and bolt them to bumper support like Mikekey and other do.

That is a compelling argument and most places with common sense may listen. However keep in mind MD is Great Communist republic of the east coast (not seriously) and we have some of the most f-ed up taxes. We have a tax on rain Sq ft that is not permeable ground, ie. Driveways, roofs, decks/patios etc. Luckily it applies to all but like 6 or 7 counties and we are in one of them.
Amen, Frederick County is the only reason I haven't left the state.
Funny story about VEIP; my deceased grandmother's 1993 Winnebago Chieftan was due for VEIP testing in November.
My dad and myself cleaned it up, made sure it ran, and fixed the seized brakes, etc. because it had been sitting for over 7 years.
We risked our lives driving driving this death trap to the VEIP place and when we pulled in they told us that we didn't have to bring it in because it was owned by the estate and not by my father personally.

So we wasted our gas driving my Trailblazer and my dad's Silverado to and from the RV's parking location multiple times, then wasted the 7-year old gas (not 10% ethanol BS) in the RV and just had to turn around and go back home.
VEIP is really doing it's job.

Two more days work Togo...
New or rebuilt of the following..
Transmission self rebuilt with son 5th time we have done it. ..successfully
Water pump
Power steering lines
Front/rear brakes and rotors w/hardware
Parking brake shoes and hardware
Oil change and cpas cleaning
Think that's it. Lol

Stop trying to ruin my fun. :frown:

You are right though, the little bit of snow I will say 5", was enough to get kids out of school for 3 days and me out of work for 2. I have never seen anything like it, we went to school in this crap when I was younger, and work never closed for snow. First good snow in about 4 years, but it only took a few minutes to remember that people down here cannot drive in it worth a crap.

Been too cold to wash it, so I hit the back wondow and lights with the gas station squeegie so I could see and people could see me.

Maybe get to wash it on Saturday hopefully.
