Definitely. Probably easier switching to the LT or SS bumper.
I painted mine using Krylon fusion for plastic and clear coated over it with no sanding. It still looks like the day I painted it two years ago. I also did the trim in front and sides along with step rails.

Just putting the Envoy in the garage for the night, I thought the reflection off the hood looks pretty good...

Seems like yesterday that it was covered in salt and looking pretty sad pulling the sleds. Now she looks fitting for a brochure cover ...Mike.

After 16,000KM (10,000mi) combined over 25 chase days, and a 12hr chase day today that had us waiting and waiting for something to pop and saying no to our initial ideas of a system to the south we stuck to our guns and finally got our first tornado. :wootwoot:

I am unsure if there were any reported injuries but as far as I know at least the initial touchdown was in a field and I pray that it stayed that way for the 4 tornadoes that this system produced. :frown:

My chase partner and I are quite excited today and by the looks of things the system will continue to be severe tomorrow in the Oklahoma City to Kansas City areas. All those who are in that area should pay close attention to any warnings as the SPC is forecasting large storms tomorrow.

Sorry Envoy fans, I had to wait for his wife to leave (something about not wanting to hear a jetski running in the garage:confused:) in their '07 Greystone voy so I could get a better pic with the '36 Chevy Coupe. His neighbor across the street just bought an '04 charcoal ext tb last week.

Woke up at 6:45 yesterday to wash my truck because there was a car show today. Rained 3 times. Had to wake up early and wash it again before the show. Sadly the only pic I took was after the fast 30 minute wash. Guna try see if people got pics of my truck.

Wow  you really put alot of us on island to shame :hissyfit: ...
Woke up yesterday and washed the car around the same time, trying to race the sunrise. Realized that I had too many waterspots but no real good way to get rid of them so I just let it be for the time being until I get can some good stuff to get it off.
This is the truck yesterday while cruising around the eastside near Makapu'u...

Yup I've washed my car twice in under 48 hrs and it's dirty right now. Gotta love our weather sometimes. And I still wanna meet up with you one day lol. I actually ended up being the sounds car for the gogo girls at the car show today. They set up two "stages" by my car and used it to play music for them to shake their stuff haha. Right when I went to take a pic they went off the stage to take a break, then it started to rain not much later.

Friend sent me a pic with my truck and one of the gogo dancers by my car during the show. Hoping more will pop up over the next few days.

What crossbars are those and how are they mounted?

They are CARR light bars mounted straight to the factory rails.

How difficult was it to mount those light bars? They look like they would serve as a great mounting setup for a low profile tray like kyles!

Actually they kill the whole point to my low profile setup. The bottom of my lights is about even with the stock rails and the tops are prolly lower than the bottom of those bars.

I was thinking they would look good on my Burban or the camper shell on my trailer.

Yea they weren't very low profile at all. Can't give you any measurements or anything because......

just wanted a change. Step bars gone. Rear bumper guard gone. Everything off the roof. Looks more low-key and sleek now. Got some new stuff planned.
