I don't think my battery is the issue overall. My alternator might be going bad, had battery tested not too long ago and everything was fine with it
 
I've got a good battery that came outta the Silverado that was pretty new when I totaled it, (although it's probably two years old now) I'd let you have it cheap, if not free if you weren't so far away.

Edit - the battery was pretty new, the Silverado was an 03.

Atleast you've got spare, don't have to spend stupid money on a new one

Have you taken it out before? If not, you're about to learn how crammed full our engine bays are lol. With standard tools expect at least 30 minutes of fighting with it lol.

Only hard part about disassembling it is the bolt that is very hard to get to that's almost hidden underneath the alternator bracket
 
Yup, that one is the bitch, it'd be easier if the A/C line wasn't running by

But when I do...

I'm drunk.

Came home to a surprise babysitter tonight.

Went to a bar with the wife and heard ac/dc 'hells bells'.

BUT

I TOTALLY thought, upon hearing the first bell toll..

That i was hearing 'for whom the bell tolls' by Metallica.

So, naturally, I screamed "METALLICA!!!!!" Really loud like Jim brewer and the entire bar just stared at me...

And it dawned on me, after a second, that it was AC/DC.

Fail. :(

Description said pass side tire left pavement and couldnt control. Judging by the flat wideopen pavement I would say speed was the factor.
