Thinking about leds and what I said earlier.. I've never seen anyone with leds in their tails or their turns. Only leds around here are light bars or retrofitted Ebay LED tails. Hmmm

Check this guys TB tail lights. He is a member on HID planet. He installed custom LEDs.

I agree. He could use a ton more LEDs. I do like the LEDs down the side of the reflector on the outside.

Not sure. Never looked at them too close. Once I got my.LED tails, I boxed them.up

At least 10% of my miles go on her car, probably more. All the little late and weekend runs are with that.. Just bought an '11 Mazda3 5 spd w 21k.

Didn't you just get another car for the wife not that long ago?

You have to drive it to get mileage...

When I bought mine in 2010 it had 31K miles. I have 92K on it now.

Gentlemen, it runs. It just doesn't drive straight very well I believe. Or DRLS doesn't.

This is correct...both sway bar links are gone up front and with the right front being pushed back it doesn't handle the greatest...well that and it goes through power steering fluid like an Irish man on a drinking spree

Issue with cruise control and flasher module.

I have heard if you change the flasher to compensate for the LEDs instead of using resistors that the cruise control quits working.

Supposedly, the pcm can sense a bulb that's burnt out and disable CC. But plenty of people have put leds in the tails.

Oh yeah, I think it's just a certain flasher module that'll screw with it. But the LED flasher modules are $70

Safety reasons I think. Maybe because you're harder to see with one less light but that still doesn't mean that cruise is gonna get you run over.....idk lol

I agree that those lights need more in the middle. I do like the look of LED tails because of the instant on / off. It may be very quick, but I know that I can see, and I bet most people can, the brightening and dimming of incandescent bulbs versus the instant on and off of LEDs.

Especially when the 3rd brake light is LED and the others are incandescent. Watched a newer cars turn signal last night from the side as I drove by while he was waiting to pull out onto the road, had leds on the mirror, they fired a fraction of a second before the front and rear signal.

I know my cruise doesn't work with a burnt out tail light. Happened twice now in 7 years. You can imagine how happy I was when cruise came back the first time. Before I discovered Trailviy.

Safety thing. If your brake lights are out you could really (have someone) wreck yourself. It'd be cool if the DIC would let you know of failed exterior lights.
