Good thing you havent done the leds yetdmanns67 said:Its the same recall for the DDM again. If the OE DDM was only sealed the first time, it says I need to go back to get a new DDM installed.
Yea...it's more or less replenishing my wallet after I spent nearly 2k over the past few days.HARDTRAILZ said:Spent the last month heading to regular job at 6am and heading home from remodeling project between midnight and 2am... It sucks but some things are worth it. I got some equity built and you will get a nice check or two i guess...

Good decision I think. Work to live, not live to work.Darkrider_LS said:So I have made a decision when it comes to my mk2 Jetta.... I'm gonna try to limit how much I spend in auto parts stores on it.
Darkrider_LS said:So I have made a decision when it comes to my mk2 Jetta...this is mostly based off of a discussion with a friend. Basically it's gonna become just a low buck budget street bomber...only replacing what it needs and mild upgrades where the oe part is no good for the cars task. Might end up picking up a parts car or two along the way but I'm gonna try to limit how much I spend in auto parts stores on it.
Fun part is that the Mk2 chassis is a great lil budget bomb car. They handle pretty good stock. Parts are somewhat cheap...so win winmcsteven said:Good decision I think. Work to live, not live to work.
Oh
Low buck bombs can be fun lolmcsteven said:I miss having a car like that. The last one that I had that was just a bomb around car, that handled pretty well, it was pretty fun to drive, was a 1976 Mazda RX4. Rotary engine which I swapped out for a Buick V6. It really changed the handling with all of that weight. A friend and I then did some more mods to it and we were able to push the engine and transmission back a little farther and it really fixed it up handling wise. It was a lot of fun, very low maintenance, cheap parts, and since I wasn't worried about the car, I have the absolute minimum for insurance.
