Yup....dmanns67 said:He knows. We are striving.to knock the king off the mountain.
Yeah, mostly structure and hazmat. I kept up my certifications thru the national level. FF1, 2, & 3 (before they condensed it to 1 & 2), Fire service instructor, hazmat ops, hazmat ops trainer, pump operator (I thought that was going to be a lot easier course than it was. Lots of math and physics), and then a bunch of aerial tactics classes. I'm pretty scared of wildland firefighting.Darkrider_LS said:I was in my hometowns Vol.FD for a little over 2 years before I moved. Was mostly trained for structure and wildland firefighting.
I think that's a big reason it's always like the same group of us that keep whorring it out here loldmanns67 said:I personally like whore threads. Gives you a chance to bullshit and get to know other members on a personal level.
Wildland def takes a special breed to do it....it's one thing to get trapped in a structure fire...quite another to have it happen in a Forrest or other wildland situation.mcsteven said:Yeah, mostly structure and hazmat. Yeah, with a structure you sort of know where the fire has been and where it's going to go. With wildland it might still come back around you.Darkrider_LS said:Wildland def takes a special breed to do it....it's one thing to get trapped in a structure fire...quite another to have it happen in a Forrest or other wildland situation.
Not sure what I did either. Dont get on FB to often. GMTN definitely occupies a lot of my time.BlazingTrails said:I agree! this is more fun than getting on FB. I don't know wtf I used to do on the computer before i joined GMTN
