but to each his own. That tb might have been a salvage vehicle or something. maybe he got it at auction dirt cheap? who knows
Hmm, maybe. It's drivers side fender did look new, was still primered. Idk. There is an SS on Ebay or was it Craigslist, that is pretty much a "save me from the scrap yard" kinda deal. That would be a cool project for someone to use as a base

Few parts...like a real TC. Couple grand for that w the custom wiring and computer work
Capote said:
I'll say again, honestly might as well put the money for an SS towards parts for a sweet ass offroad build on a normal LT or LS
You all know me and that obviously would say not too jack it up. But I can also see the other side of lifting an ss for off-roading

That's fine, it will be awhile till I turn a wrench on the blazer so I'm ok with waiting.
Well if this weather warms up ill grab the parts out of my shed

I think that guy partially did it because it pissed people off lol, it did me. But yeah of I had an SS I would focus on making it a fast Mocheenur, not lifted.

Can't, kids will be here. It's shameful she'd rather go out with her friends than watch the ball drop with the twins. I guess I'll be the bigger parent

That SS has as much SS as I do plus the 6.0. I never needed more power so I can't see the point. Have to change TC. Redo computer. Strip off bumpers and wheels and lowered springs....

All the wanted SS stuff but motor needs changed.

I'm avoiding bullshit. Plus I think it'll be cute to see them jumping when the ball drops and dancing to the live performances after

May as well just get a 5.3 4x4TB and put a bigger engine in that as the computer would be ready to go with almost any LS-based engine at that point, if a big engine is the desire.

I love the 4.3 I have those things scream like a monster I wish they would have spent the time building them proper since the power was way underated

Was easy to get power from them. I think I owned 3 and dad had 4 including the 88 4x4 long bed I should be granted come spring. Got to play w a bunch. Rather have the 4.2 but 250k on a 4.3 was easy

Why don't we ever actually do have a massive Skype session? That'd be cool as hell

Nice. I think you'll do well with all the savings, especially on fuel. That thing probably gets 28 MPG in the city (do you do mpg, km/g, or L/100 km?) and 35 on the highway. AND A WARRANTY.

Not sure Skype has that capability (group session) but I do know that Google Hangouts has it available. I've used it a few times.

From what I've just been told, skype has video and text group chat.

I should have looked at the ratings on the window sticker before i ripped it off tonight but those numbers sound about right, will def be playing around and figuring out what my mileage will be. I tend to calculate it by MPG when i can.
