I view it like this....i simply made room for a TBSS to take its place

I fear a TBSS wouldn't last long in Canada :/ only seen one SS with a lift lol

SS is a street machine, why put a lift on it? Why? You really gonna take an SS offroading? People seek them for their street performance

I will grant the ss a candidate for lifting since they run a common hd motor they would make an amazing mud truck with some tuning and a few parts

SS not better looking to me. Plastic bumper of any shape...not impressive. SS rims are sub par with aftermarket offering. Badging gets stripped off. So lifted SS not good looking.

The amount someone would pay for an SS BEFORE even putting a lift on it makes it a poor choice for that application from the get go. You could use that money to do a build like yours and put it on an LT or LS

I understand about the engine, but an SS is expensive and not many people sell them as it is. Might as well put that money towards a lifted offroad build like Kyle's on a normal TB base

Sorry I also forgot too mention the gear ratio and awd I typed too fast
I'll say again, honestly might as well put the money for an SS towards parts for a sweet ass offroad build on a normal LT or LS

That's fine, it will be awhile till I turn a wrench on the blazer so I'm ok with waiting.

The awd is a joke offroad and 4.10 is OK but only a limited slip rear, not a locker, and 4.56 is mo better

You have a very valid point. I still think they're badass though.
