You know your mod bug has manifested when you dream about modding... Mine hasn't dug that far into my brain just yet.

Speaking of Saleen's one of my lady friends has a Mustang that's someone added the saleen body kit too (think of it like swapping on SS body parts) and it's pretty damn ricer looking. Saw her driving one day and thought good God look at that ugly Honda...then I realized what it was.

I have pics of two of mine in the "what else did/do you drive" thread and the third is the same as the copy of the Ford literature shown. I have pics of my 68 and 78, but not of my 87. No body kits. I wanted the 87 to be as much of a sleeper as it could be (hard to do with 677 hp at the wheel). The 78 was a King Cobra. Factory is was spoilers and stripes with a 138 hp 5.0 (that was the first time they designated it 5.0 instead of 302). Swapped motor for something a little more built. Pic of it with a friend's wife in my signature line. And my 68 had a 390 that gave it plenty of giddy up. Man, I miss those cars.

Dang son lol. I wish I had the money to do a motor swap or just build the motor in my 98. Saw a procharger kit online once for it..$5000ish. would rather get a new motor considering my motor has over 170k miles on it.

That's when I had money. The build in the 87 cost me nothing. I had gone to school with a guy who was building turbo kits in his garage, did a bunch of VW GTIs, then got GM to go with him for a twin-turbo 'Vette. Reeves Callaway. Old Lyme, CT.

The 78 swap was basically a wash. I had an older small block Chevy motor I was hoping to use in a T Bucket. Friend offered to trade out a Ford 302 that was already built for the SBC. Swappd.

The 68 had the 390 in it when I acquired it; I beefed it a bit but kept it sane. Crank and cam, 650 dp carb, a few other goodies. Lots of smaller mods like trying to make them as light as possible, too.
