I saw this '31 Packard this morning. Had to stop and chat to them. It's has a 327 ci straight 8 bored 30 over. Sounds really nice when he fired it up. They're from town here so I'll be stopping by sometime to look at his other cars and chat some more.

Just recently, I managed to get out for some night photography at a spot I had my eye on for a while. Right near there, there was this old steam tractor that caught my eye as a target for this thread. It's been there so long, there's even a Google Street View of it.

Weather's been crappy lately until today which was perfect. Went out to see if I could get that pic, and while talking to the property owner, (and learning that ths tractor had been running as recently as two years ago) I could hear a ton of noise like race engines. Went to the end of the block, circled around behind the cemetery where I'd done the night photography, and literally tripped across some mud drag races I never knew were there.

After hanging out there, came back and showed a couple people at work the steam tractor and mud racers...one of the guys informed me of another steam vehicle in a parking lot a block away. Went and snagged pics there too!

This was parked in front of where I work, so I pulled in beside to see if the owner was around. No, so I turn to leave and see an older couple walking on the sidewalk. She is heading to her driver's door so I walk out to talk to them. As I go out, she gets in her drivers seat, oblivious to the similarity of the vehicle beside her. He too was oblivious, and walks around and hops in my passenger seat, then looked all confused about where his wife had gone LMAO

I told him in the future to look for the pretty red calipers (got the fronts done yesterday), and the moonroof

Turns out they owned another of these previously, same model and color, which his granddaughter now drives somewhere in this area.

I find myself crossing into Wisconsin to a town called Hudson, pop 12,000, every couple of weeks and I can not help but notice how many TB's and Voy's there are. I made a joke one day to my buddy and we saw 14 in 4.5 miles. Today, rolling in an '04 Silverado, I saw these two on the ramp and had to snap a pic quick.

Didn't park beside it but looked pretty rally ready. Its some sort of BMW. Never seen one here in Ottawa especially in Bayshore lol. Suspension was really different then I have ever seen and the sound of it was really high pitch

Yup that ugly fucker is the X6. X5 looks so much nicer and has the same drive train (on the M series) but since the X6 is a little smaller and a little lighter it is slightly faster. If I had to choose, X5M all day lmao.
