Not the first one I've had. I love them so far. Haven't had any issues. What have you heard about them?

My buddy was supposed to have the rev limiter turned off, but his came with it still activated. Some other guy had his tuned for more mileage, but didn't notice any differences

About to install these...

had to chuckle though,,,

it's insisted that ONLY genuine A/C Delco Mounts be used...

and the bag arrives with MADE IN KOREA

I guess I need to get used to this global-economy thingy... :frown:

Yeah, I know... issue is, it is insisted due to the internal construction of the mounts, not where they are made.

Drained the water out of the radiator and replaced it with fresh 50/50 coolant mix. Only had the water in there since Tuesday, so I don't expect any issues. Crossing my fingers!

I only paid 185 a tire for 33s from discounttiredirect.Com
I will def keep that in mind after I wear out the Wrangler Sr-a tires that I'm using for my summer tires.

The poster asked how wide on stock wheels. Not sure if it answered their question, but not mine. The chart shows how large we can go, not really how wide (say 265/55-17 or 275/50-17) and keep it pretty close to stock overall diameter. (No, I didn't check those numbers to see if they'd be close. I would of course before buying).

I figure someone else has probably done the same thing, but I threw together a chart with tire sizes that would keep the same, or very close to the same, overall diameter. So, what is the widest size you know can fit? Tirerack.com will give us the min wheel width per mfg suggestion. But for clearance, etc....

:rotfl: I see now, what I was thinking was lots of tire spin being a loose condition. Can't pay much attention to me when it's late like this, I tend to get ignorant lol.

Drove her out to my buddy's place this morning to do a little target shooting. First time I've shot with him in awhile, it was nice catching up and busting some clays. Going to head into the shop today and do some machining for some of my interior mounts I finished dimensioning last night

Went and checked out a 2015 canyon sle all terrain. Crew Cab v6. Lot better than I thought they'd be but I still don't like the price tag. When the 2016s come out I'll get one

Heh...maybe when that happens I may be in a position to be able to buy your old one.

Is there anything securing the battery? I would recommend using a battery box in case it were to leak. I like it though, what do you plan on running off of the inverter?

:2thumbsup:

It is an AGM battery, I have it temporarily strapped in there. I am building a storage drawer that is going to be mounted in there and have a permanent mounting for the battery.

That is a smart isolator that has Anderson Power Poles on it for quick connections. I have been running power directly from the power feed to the rear fuse box but I wanted the battery to split the power from the main battery without the drain. I have three dual-band ham/LMR radios in there that I use for events, S&R and emergency operations. I have a laptop desk in there that is powered by an inverter. I also have a Cradlepoint mobile router that I use to share out the internet access.

That sound awesome!! Can't wait to see the cabinet

Years ago I had a Chevy conversion van that I used for work. I had a deep cycle marine battery in the back with a disconnect to save the front battery. 3,500 watt inverter, a refrigerator, and all of my chargers. I built a countertop down the driver side that contained everything with the chargers built into the top. I loved it!! I could run a table saw off of that inverter. Lol

I recall one house we were wiring that they had not set the temp power pole yet, so I pulled the van into the garage and left it running. We ran drop cords into the house and drilled all of the studs with a Milwaukee hole hog. I got mad respect that day
