I need to get some of those. My stock one had the same heel hole in it. I ended up tossing it, and took one of the rear mats and threw it up front as a band aid fix.

Gonna tow a trailer

They are expensive, but they are worth it. Especially in Florida where it rains so much, I don't even think twice about getting in the car with muddy shoes anymore. The only gripe I have is that it does not cover the dead pedal fully.

We'll I will say what I have been doing the past two weeks. I have been looking for flywheel bolts. And let me tell ya FUCK THAT.

I have bought 15 different bolts and none fit. I called GM and they will require a price of $110.00 for 8 bolts. Bullshit right.

So to my local scrapyard I go to pull a motor from another trailblazer to get the right bolts I need FOR FREE. Ha fuck you GM.

Then tmrw I'm putting my new motor in :D Such a long process. Gotta love it when a bolt holds ya back. Post some pics in the am I shall have it done by sundown >:)

Welcome to GMT. Noticed that you've already been over to the "whore threads". Lots of people here, lots of good info, lots of advice, lots of sharing.

Left it parked at parents...weird not having it home

Gassed it up

Filling it, getting it washed and driving to Pittsburgh.

Gathering parts for maintenance and waiting for some mod parts to work on it.

Replaced both front wheel bearings. The driver was the bad one.but decided to do both since I had the tools out. It's amazing how quiet it is now.

Hooked it to a trailer for some grass elimination tomorrow

Drove it back from Pittsburgh and filled it up for the second time in 2 days.

Installing efans with djones in the ss
damn, where was my invite?

My efan mod works via a switch for now. Thanks to electronic genius djones for doing the electric and helping me pull that clutch fan out. What a bitch without the correct tools!!

I'm liking his Flex-a-lite controller. I might have to swap out my DCControls, which has light-duty electrical terminations for the temperature probe.

Is it just on / off or is it variable speed on the fan and controller?

Right now it is on/off because we didn't have the hose temperature probe adapter. The temperature probe is bypassed with a jumper wire and the ignition wire going to the on/off switch. We also need to connect the A/C.

So it sounds like you will be making it a variable speed. Is that right? I know being variable will keep the temperature at optimum.

Yes....in a couple weeks I will have the part we need to splice into the upper radiator hose to make it variable speed.

I took the leftover paint supplies from doing my grill surround and some bolts, and decided to get a head start on my interior. I did the columns upfront by the windshield today in between other things
