I just checked my mileage again yesterday. I am up to 17.1 combined. I am still trying to achieve a steady 20 myself. I ordered a coil yesterday because one of mine has started missing. I am hoping that will get me over 20

Just like Sparky, I reached a milestone today as well. The beaSSt turned 50,100 miles (on the body) on the way home from the Midwest meet. I got 16.59 mpg's on the way out there, but havent calculated the return trip home since i dont have to fill up yet. Not bad since i think the advertised mpg's were 14 city/17 highway. She was completely stock going out there. Now the motor is broken in pretty good and I'll be changing the oil and cracking open the filter to inspect things one last time before i can be at ease about my motor.

I changed the front differential fluid (finally able to thanks to my new, longer breaker bar) and checked all the fluids while I was at it.

Dropped the spare...
gonna swap out the rear end soon for the proper 06 because there is an 05 in it right now (previous owner) and the ABS and Brake wires don't hook up to the computer and thus the lights are on all the time as well as the chime as well as the stabillitrac and etc.

Fixed some door molding

Cleaned out the cargo area
Fluid filmed all the squeaky door hinges ( nice and quiet now!)

Stopped raining out there so I checked my PS pump since it started whining while in Indiana. It was very low. Drat. Filled it up, poked around and it looks like the high pressure line is leaking where it attaches to the pump. I thought I got it tight enough, but I guess not. Or the fitting is just messed up and won't seal. Guess I'll have to look at it.

Painted the lower valance black, but I had to zip tie one side back on. Apparently the previous owners thought the proper method for removal was ripping it off and glueing it back on. Oh and I reinstalled my rear boer pad too.

Lifted it, sorta. Actaully testing out the scissor lift and trying to find the suitable lift points. Will be fully utilized when I get a high lift garage kit.
How much did that lift cost you? Is it electric, or hydraulic?

Well my truck is peeing power steering fluid all over the place. Half a bottle worth in only 30-ish miles  Earlier I thought it was a slower drippy leak, but I guess not!

I think it is coming from the high pressure line where it screws into the pump. Really hoping I just didn't get it tight enough. It looks like a tapered seat and I didn't see any sort of seal or washer in there. It is late and starting to rain so I guess I'll be looking at it tomorrow night if the weather clears up.

Ya ive never had one of these apart but I build alot of hydraulic lines and the jic ends shouldn't require anything it I know some systems require a plastic washer or o-ring but just a guess

Last weekend, installed HIDs, capacitor mod, and 6 high headlight mod.

Today, changed front and rear diff fluid. In the process I found a leaking CV shaft seal. Fought with the God damn CV shaft until it finally let go. Installed CV seal. Changed transfer case fluid. Changed front brake rotors (pads were fine), installed Bilstein HDs.

It was a busy day and I'm very satisfied with the results. Rides better than new!

I bought the longblock from TSP and I've read a couple of bad reviews, never sure what to believe. so I'm not sure if it was a shitty machine job originally, or my fault... I overheated it once when one of my efans went out on me. very confident in my machine shop here, scotty is the man.

heads got a little more port work done to them, he says they should be good for more hp up top. we'll see. once its all back together and broken in, i'll probably strap a 200 shot of nawz on it and do some dyno tuning.

Had a whole day to play on the hoist at work!! :wooot:

#1 Changed the transfer case fluid
#2 Took all the tires off and painted my calipers Gloss Black
#3 Replace driver-side fog light assembly
#4 Put 4 Mud flaps on
#5 Swapped out passenger side rear light assembly

I am a teacher at a high school and we are into exams this week. Today was my "duty" day and I have exams for the next week straight so all I had to really do was my assigned tours of duty at various times and then drop back in and continue working on the TB. I could pick at it for like 30 min at a time here and there and because there were no kids in the shop today I was able to book out a lift for the day!

99% sure I fixed the power steering leak. I had another 1/4 turn on the high pressure fitting at the pump. Doesn't seem to be leaking now so fingers crossed it remains leak free.

Rotated the tires and greased up the ball joints.

Found that I need a new oil dipstick tube since mine has rusted and started to cave in a bit. A little startling when pulling the dipstick and it gets stuck halfway out, requiring some persuasion to come out and go back in. Sigh :hopeless:

Just ordered a new tube for under $20. Not bad.

Oil and filter change with Mobil1 full synthetic high mileage. Cleaned green intake filter. Replaced my broken seat control side cover. Replaced my switchback LEDs with some regular amber LEDs and replaced my side marker LEDs with the same brand LEDs.

Did your switchbacks go bad on you or something? Why the switch?

Switchbacks are fine. Just wanted a change. The 5630s are definitely bright. I had amber LEDs originally in the turn signals, but when using the turn signal with the headlights on, it was hard to notice the LED flashing which is why I went to the switchbacks. These new ones, you can tell a difference between the parking lights and turn signal.

I will have to get some pics.

PS leak not fixed

Appears the low pressure line is leaking where it goes into the pump. Screw it, the line is all rusty further down anyway, and the rubber was formed to the nipple on the old pump which is probably why it won't seal on this one. I'm stopping by the parts store tomorrow to get a new piece of line.
