Oh they do work! I already got the first one for the lower strap and just got the other for the upper. I expect this last one to work just as well. The lower one also took the pain I would get in the back of the neck from digging in.

Intake manifold gasket accompanied by the throttle body gasket. I've got the same set in my cart but put it on hold till I get another valve cover powder coated.

So do I get a prize....:2thumbsup:

Not exactly received today but I took my trip to OG to pick up a few goodies I ordered over the last few weeks.
- fuel rail for the TB
- side markers (called repeaters) that go in place of the fake vents on the Caprice
- ACDelco Top Engine Cleaner
- New 509 Sledding helmet (my XMas present)
- Maguiar's spray on headlight protectant
- Cordless ratchet
- Cheap camber/caster tool
- Sled handlebar muffs
- 2 Cheap Ryobi knockoff hi-cap batteries

Then went shopping in town:
Walmart: Dickie's 3xt pocket-T, maroon (only colour I didn't have of theirs), Dickie's socks, some groceries
TSC: Set of long nose pliers and a rechargeable long LED underhood worklight

Then I got raped at the border for $145 in taxes.
That light is nice except the battery lasts only 3 hours on low, 1 hour on high. All this will be useful when I install the fuel rail tomorrow.

:undecided: I need to find those for my steering wheel buttons. Volume buttons have some wear on them, and plenty of stray light bleed through on the edges.

Wasn't supposed to get this until tomorrow, but the oil pan gasket for my Sierra came today (while mail service was not supposed to happen today, due to the presidential funeral, 'urgent' mail was still delivered - so I guess 'priority mail' qualified as 'urgent' ?)

Since it came, I went to AAP and got the oil pickup tube o-ring - good practice to change that out, if one is doing a pan gasket. Got out of there with a Fel-Pro for less than $4. I felt 'lucky'...LOL
Meanwhile, the no-name version was selling for $9 and change. Go figure!

Trick I found on the OS a long time ago is to use clear nail polish on the buttons to prevent wear through. I was actually able to find a semi-gloss clear that looked pretty good rather than a gloss. Test on a junk module first as some may peel the paint right off.

EASIEST VEHICLE EVER to install rear springs and shocks on, straight up no joke, before I decided to lower mine I installed a set of Bilsteins in the rear, I literally backed the truck up onto ramps so I had room to get underneath and I unbolted the old shocks, installed teh top stud of the new shocks then man-handled the bottom into position, whole thing took 15-20 minutes to do the pair.

Received 4 K&N oil filters for my Yamaha snowmobile from Amazon. Price dropped from $24 to 16 and was time to pounce, and just in time to tune up the machine.

Got a replacement u-joint & oil seal (yesterday) for the new Sierra, and today the nerf bars (side steps) came in via UPS, along with the touch up paint I ordered.

I guess my weekend has been planned out for me (part of it, anyway...I have some other things requiring my attention right now that are time-sensitive).

I ordered my wife some Dark Chocolate thru Amazon because it said it deliver a week before X-Mas. Last week I get an email saying that there was a delay in shipping, and that it wouldnt ship out till after X-mas, with a DEL date of Jan 4. I cancelled my order, TWICE, last week. I get an email on Monday saying it shipped, I cancelled the order again. Well guess what came in the mail today.

I am beginning to hate Amazon.

Is it normal for the field of stars to be on the left rather than the right like on that patch? It looks backwards to me. And the pic isn't flipped if I go by the cup behind it.

When the military wears the flag on their right sleeve we have a reversed flag so the stars are always leading.

Last night Husky floor liners from our bud @northcreek.20190103_180732.jpg
I laughed a little when I saw that the liners where in a WeatherTech box.
Today Envoy hitch cover also from @northcreek 20190104_183447.jpg
I'm going to get to work on making a mold for this thing and maybe turn out a few decent replicas.

Valve cover gasket set (mine are puking but not terrible but definitely getting worse as I'm smelling it now) and two 3-wire 3157 sockets to slice and dice for a quad drl/turn mod via switchbacks, gotta use their innards to mod the current drl sockets to have dual filament capabilities. Have wanted to do this mod for years even before I got my truck (thought it up when working on a friend's Tahoe) but had deep deep wiring plans like modifying bcm wiring and such. I'm not fully decided yet but I'm thinking the white/drl function will be powered ign-on all times. That'll lose my perimeter lighting for the front but I just though up an idea for that typing this. All for the Silverado, of course.

LOL ...that's because I found a great source for weird size boxes. Our local Ford dealer has a cardboard dumpster(hard to find, most have compactors) I'm not above "dumpster diving" and you have the proof.....Mike.

a bracket so I can take the H100i V2 AIO cooler from my Intel system and install it into my Ryzen system, but someone should really tell Corsair they don't need to use a box big enough to hold 27 of these making the SHIPPING cost TWICE the item cost.

I have a inversion table. Have not been able to use it in just over a year now. Had to put it in storage until our baby realizes that its not a playtoy!

Got these LED motorcycle brake/tail/turns for my snowmobile to replace the stock one. Very nice and bright. My original one was being hit by my trailer top so this will help with the clearance. IMG_20190110_095239.jpg

This Sunday morning, before 8am, this was waiting for me at the door. Ordered on Friday night. Amazon Prime 2 day shipping baby!

IMG_20190113_102129.jpg

I lost mine for my MIG welder and I wasn't going to pay $100 locally when I can get it on Amazon for $30. Needed to fix a cracked suspension piece on my son's snowmobile.
