I don't tow anything big. Someday I hope to get a travel trailer 27-30'.

I tow a Triton enclosed snowmobile trailer. Its 102" wide and very light.

I also tow a 5x8' utility trailer.

The snowmobile trailer and my Envoy get me to trails like this. Me with my son up front hit 151km/h on that stretch , my fastest on a lake was 172km  but these speeds are on the speedo so actual would be little less.

Damn...that enclosed snowmobile trailer looks like a great canidate for a conversion to a lightweight backcountry primitive camper. Hmmmmm

Trust me I'll work for that! Light enough to go almost anywhere, it has the upgraded bigger tires too. I walked home one cold night from a buddies and had forgot my keys and wife wasn't home, I climed in there and closed the front door, i have a flashlight in the tool box. I finished my Bud's and had a few smokes before she arrived. :rotfl:

Camper is still busted, but does hauling count.

Bought some stuff for the deck.

the rest of it.

The boards only stuck off about 6', same as a truck with an 8' bed. I picked up the cargo carrier with a waterproof bag from a guy at work for $50.

I will have to get some home pics, been freaking swamped though.

Towing a 20' Aerolite Cub 195 Hybrid. It weighs 3500# dry and loaded about 4000-4200#. I use an equalizer 4-point sway control that cost too much money. Pulls pretty good, but I can't wait to get me a full size truck.

A friend has been looking for a car trailer... A family friend of mine was selling his, so I get to tow this (empty) from my place to NE Idaho tomorrow. I'm so tempted to keep it. The sooner I ditch it, the sooner the temptation goes away... For now

And he didn't want the trailer... So now I own it (by choice).

I'm sorry I don't have full pictures, but I have a teaser. :raspberry: We've towed some pretty large boats over the years. Here are the engines that are on the back of this year's.

For as heavy as these boats are, the Trailblazer does a really good job pulling them. Hopefully this summer I will get an actual picture of me pulling one. :wootwoot:

I think they are 21' long. The one I have pictured has 1000+ lbs of sand in the bow plus the fuel tank to keep the bow down in the water. The H.O.'s have up to 24 HP more than what is printed on the engine. I think it has 14 or 15 pitch props which provides an epic amount of torque. The hulls are made by Dyna Ski and the Evinrude E-Tecs are amazing. Finally the trailer is a dual axle with surge brakes. I'm going to stop rambling. Let me know if you have any more specific questions.

Thanks for the info. Amazing boat with only a 21 ft length and 625 + HP strapped to the back. !!!
Our boat is 21ft with a 5 litre V8 and sterndrive and that is more than enough for me at 250hp. Mind you, no sand in the bow for us

I used to have the exact same trailer. I agree. It was a great trailer - just too small. Once we got the 4th licenced snowmobiler in the family it became time for a 3rd sled and bigger trailer. Here are my son and daughter and my niece pausing from playing follow the leader around the Ganaraska Forest.

Clarington-20120102-00003.jpg

I ended up getting a 4-place trailer just in case we end up with a 4th sled at somepoint down the road. It's nice to be able to stand out of the weather to get suited up before a ride. (I've not yet towed it with my TB, but my GMT900 does just fine.)

Get your son hooked early. It's a great sport. Where do you normally ride? Our local trails are Port Perry, Ganaraska, Orangeville or Barrie but I'm originally from New Liskeard and get back as often as we can in the winter.

Yeah, we have 6, also 6 mini-choppers, some mini-quads and some old Honda 90s. Part of a parade unit. That was for a US parade, towed 'em on the 1st for a Canadian parade as well .

Man you got a nice collection there  ! Looks like a Can Am on the back too. Ha, nice truck, why would you pull with the TB  ? My favorite combo, GM Trucks and Ski Doo's. Funny how Ford's are always pulling Yamaha's, I hate that combo and love passing them on the Hiway with the Denali. As far as where I ride it all depends where the snow is. If we ever get snow here we're able to leave from the Toyata plant in Cambridge and head towards Fergus, Mount Forest, Orangeville, alot of big fields, short bush, big fields, short bush kinda riding. We've done the canal from Hwy 9 to Lake Simcoe and thats quite the rush. But I'd have to say up north is my favorite riding, Huntsville, North Bay, New Liskeard, Kirkland Lake, Gogama, Shining Tree. Northern trails are so much more scenic with ever changing terrains. I'd like to do the full Snow Train trip sometime where they load your sled on the train and take you further north and then you ride back. I absolutley love this sport and I know my son does too. He's only 10 and I let him ride mine by himself on the big fields and lakes. When he's 12 he'll do the course and hopefully start with a Ski Doo Freestyle. Keep in touch when the snow flies and maybe we'll hook up sometime. I better stop here cuz I'll keep typing all night.

Here's my entry. Ours is a 2010 Serro Scotty HiLander, weighing in around 2500 lbs. Even though I haven't taken it out yet, I found out I did have to get a longer hitch ball mount due to the spring system that's on the Envoy. First tow is coming up in two weeks for a camping rally out in Pennsylvania. Just had a brake controller and transmission cooler installed, so it should be ready to go.

Its funny that you say that. The last time I went Jet skiing, I was pulling my friends sea doo with the TB and he was pulling his aunts Yamaha with his F150.

Just picked me up a little 5'x8' utility trailer. Not going to be used for too much, moving light equipment around, parts, miscellaneous stuff, etc., but I've always been meaning to get one to have one on hand. Tons of times in the past that I've kicked myself for not having a trailer around. First project is going to be making some removable plywood sides for it. Unfortunately, no brackets for stake siding, but it shouldn't be too hard put something together.

Here's my first tow with the TB. 1994(?) Amerigo Snap-N-Nap.

Monday morning (Labor Day), we had to use it to tow my friend's 1998 30' Jayco (seen in the background) as the fuel pump in his truck died. Sorry, didn't get to snap a pic before we unhooked.

Wild camper. We've looked at tons of campers, and I've never seen one quite like that. Looks like a decent design.

When I first heard about it, it took me about 3 days to find a picture online. Apparently they weren't made for too long! It's prolly gonna go next spring as we are growing in family size, and this one will be too small.

Good to know, that's probably what I'll end up doing then.

Just double check the way the top bar on the sides is mounted. Looks like L-bracket, and if it mounted so it sticks out farther than the bottom, 2x4 would hit it when you put them in the stake pockets. Just look straight down at them from above and see if they are in the way. I have a similar trailer and it has a 3" steel pipe welded in place in the way.

Have you ever ridden a Freestyle? They sound like a nice concept but they have a single cylinder engine and almost no suspension. Fine for playing around the yard but will be less than satisfying on the trails. Reminds me a little of my 1970 Olympique! You're better off to find a 380 fan in an MXZ. They are hard to find because everybody wants to hold on to them.

Keep me in mind when the snow flies. Maybe we can buzz by Harmless's place!
