So should I feel a "seat-o-meter" diffrence? I have never had a car with "TOO GOOD" brakes. And my 96 silverado........... SHEESH. Its 5.7 vortec pulls great but it has no brakes at all. No idea how to help it. I think it borders on Dangerious :hissyfit: (spellin) Oh well, a rant for another time
Yes you will feel a big difference.

If I were allowed I would have one this size to play with. However, with my wife, the interior of whatever TT I get will have to be able to compete with the Ritz.
Went from tenting to the little 16' TT so getting off the ground was a big step up for us. Now the 18' is more comfortable, heavier, has a full bathroom, and full kitchen. Worth the weight and cost. Wife likes the upgrade.......Now I want bigger and better lol.

Picked up a 2000 Neon for my mom. TB pulled it great after the tune. I saw trans temps of 220 with an 80 degree ambient at 65 mph in D. Only downshifted 3 times, and I was ready with my hand on the shifter.

Well were on a tour of the northeast. Started in texas monday, went to. indiana, michigan, ohio, pittsburgh pa, curentally in carlisle,pa (only a few weeks late...). Tomorrow afternoon will be heading back towards home in texas. On the trailer is 4 15ft led scoreboards for dragstrips. We started with 6 and the pic was after the first 2 were delivered.

man that is a surprise...better mileage in 3rd than drive: I will try that next week. I woulda thought it would be better the other way, which is why i did it like that...
I do better in 3rd also towing my 20ft boat with my '08 Trailblazer. Weight is about 3900 lbs. Engine is the 4.2 I6. No constant up and down shifting, either. Probably a lot easier on the tranny, too. Usually average just under 13mpg.

Looks a little low there at the hitch end. Do you have a load leveller system ???
Hope the camping goes well.
not yet, working on that.
just got the camper a few months ago (and the truck shortly after) so pulling it with the hitch and sway control. pulls fine, just have to take it easy on the bumps.

if you think that is low, i wish i had pics with it hooked up to the dakota, the a$$ dragged the whole way. :rotfl:

It's cool bro, just lower the front 1"

Air bags!

I thought about air bags for the Dakota, but with all the problems it was giving me, i figured getting a new truck would be better (and more fun).
my wife's uncle has a load leveling hitch that he is going to give me so if all goes well, ill be towing level next week :woot:

Bags in the coils....

If you like it now you will love it when you get the back end of the trailblazer up a little. I tow a 26ft travel trailer with ours. You sure know it's behind you but the ride is vastly improved (as are where the headlights are pointing) Enjoy.

At a friends wedding yesterday and a delivery guy got stuck in the mud. The brides dad had a 2500HD Silvy 2wd and he thought he would be able to get him out without a problem. I told him I'd be more then willing to do it but he wanted to do it. After several minutes of failed attempts and people jumping in the back of the bed for traction, I had to be the hero  and save the day lmfao. I had to show them what real power was hahaha. Got to love 4wd

Similar things at the campground at the start and end of the season when people are putting their trailers on and off the seasonal sites when a little "muddy". Our Trailblazer has been the saviour to many a "stuck" situation. Same with some people pulling their boats out on a slimy ramp. Just love out Trailblazer for this situation. :)

Bunch of vinyl fencing. Bought 180' or so on a 16 trailer

Inherited a 2001 Crest 22 foot pontoon from the inlaws. It has a 2004 50 hp Mercury Big Foot outboard for power. It has 4 fishing chairs in the corners, Minn Kota trolling motor and a livewell (beer cooler).

I did 190 miles round trip this weekend pulling a 2000 lb trailer and my 3000 lb mustang on it. The Envoy Denali 4x4 did great and averaged 12.4 mpg on the trip which is not terrible considering I was going between 60-70 mph on the trip 95% highway.

Lil trailer we built years ago from a popup tent camper frame

Here's what I pull. We used to carry our custom bikes on a bike rack that mounts to the back of the truck. After almost losing our bikes on I-275 in Tampa I decided this Harbor Freight trailer was the less stressful way to haul the bikes. It was a fun little project to build, but wouldn't want to do it again though. LOL :rotfl:

My dad towed this from long island. The truck was re-sprung last summer and there were 2 extra springs added, no sag. [emoji106]

didnt really tow it furthur then 2 miles. boss's truck in the shop so i said sure my buick can tow that trailer had about 1ton of sand/salt in it for snow.

got it here went to dump it me being inexpierienced with dumping trailers just left truck in park started dumping the trailer all was well dirt started dumping.......... then it pushed my entire truck foward 2-3 feet on the ice (guess im glad was ice under my tires) scared the shit out of me but lesson learned...... keep truck in neutral and foot lightly on break while dumping.

trailer empty kind of jerked my buick around very dangerous idea way to heavy of a trailer.for my buick

I just got home with my new (well, new to me again) bike, too! Towed this 2000 VStar 650 Custom, 320 miles from East TN back to SW Ohio. Harbor Freight trailer with custom made two bike deck. Ran it about 65-70 MPH, averaged 17.5 mpg over the return trip.

I've been towing a lot. 6'6"X10' utility trailer, this load was laminate flooring, but I've hauled my zero turn on it, 1200lbs of scrap (the flooring weighed more), 2 454s and the most recent load on it was an engine test stand mt grandfather had built using a front frame clip from and old truck and a cart that had a 350 and SM465 on it. I really need to add a trans cooler and go to 3.73s

Random junk and the smoker on a stupidly heavy trail the FIL had built. My lil man rocking the diaper and flip flops was a big help ;)
