Sparky that sucks. I hate it when I am stuck at home with no wheels, even if I am not going anywhere. I just like to have a set sitting there for freedom if I want it.

I walked the one mile to the shop to pick up my truck today. It's good to get some exercise on occasion :tongue:
 
Getting ready for bed. I was offered a lack-of-work day for today, which I took up. Usually I don't, but taxes are filed so I can afford it.

We'd been going in at either 9 or 12 depending on the orders for the next day. Today at about 2 I got the call, I come in at 7, so tomorrow's order must be a big one :crazy:

Read meters today. I'll start walking about 8 and get done about 12:30. And is 4 degrees with a wind chill of-13.
 
Work, then going home to put up a temporary mailbox till the spring thaw, then starting the fuel pump. THen getting the house cleaned and food ready for the super bowl party at my house.

Good luck on the fuel pump. Taken it out twice now. Both times over the sending unit. Once the whole pump which I used a Delphi the next time 18 months later to replace just the sending unit with a cheap one. Not that true in its reading all the time but close enough that I can live with it

I am working then hanging with kids while the wife works, then drinking heavily, because...well...uh...because....uh....it's FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Really wish I could. Got meeting all day Sat. Tax guy and mortgage guy. Then this place wants me to work Monday.

We did talk last night about a trip to Chicago soon.
 
Working from home today, which is nice being able to be here with my little girl and wife. Moved my desk and stuff out into the living room area.

Just hoping when my job relocates this perk doesn't eventually dry up.
 
Watching "The Last Truck" right now, old documentary but its been about 8 years since I have had access to HBO. It's is very sad to see what has happened to this countries manufacturing base.

Going to wash the truck off later.

Those days are the worst. It was bad enough I was logging in on my time sheet yesterday and I asked the guys what day we got sent home early, I must have had some groundhogs day crap going I though it was Wednesday, again. To my relief it was Thursday and one day closer to the weekend.
