Back to work after my mini vacation. Have had a steady stream of stuff coming in plus a bunch of stuff from the weekend, so the day is flying by.

Worked and then tried to take the rear bow tie emblem off but it didn't want to come off so I'll have to pry it off this weekend

Use a hair dryer to heat up the adhesive and then take some fishing line and slid it in between the body and the emblem. That will cut right through the double sided tape. Then you just need to cleanup the residue.

As for me, ran a couple errands this morning and now back at work for the evening.

Ya that's what I'm gonna do this weekend, and I just cleaned it out finally but it needs vacuumed now. I climbed up on top and it wasn't a pretty sight either unfortunately

Back to work

:nighty: Yawning on the job. Doing my damndest not to nod off since someone walks past my desk about every 90 seconds. Would it be :weird: if I got up and started doing jumping Jacks?

Hello, hope everyone had a good day...I personally had to replace some Trans Cooler Line Fittings on the 06 Impala today. After noticing a fluid line all the way down my 75ft driveway, which is a no no on my property

Simple job/task, got 271k miles out of the originals so can't complain. O-rings failed, each one has 2, 1 on the outside and 1 inside.

Working at the job & on scouting stuff

Hit up PCMofNC about some new findings on the sierra's issue with the tuned PCM. Pretty much the last avenue left to explore at this point.

Had a meeting with our accountant this morning to file our taxes. Now I have to work the rest of the night. Hope to be able to catch the last period of Blackhawks vs Blues tonight. Game starts at 7, and I work until 9. We shall see.

Working for the man

Ran some errands earlier on my day off. Just now I got done reinstalling our bathroom radiator. It's been disconnected for about 2 yrs since I had to pry up the floor in my apt because the return line to the boiler busted.

Maybe tomorrow I'll regrout that part of the bathroom floor who knows. Lol.

Put a new back on a small rolling cabinet table thing that my brother gave me. It is just particle board with a thin cardboard back tacked on the back. The cardboard tore and the whole thing is a little wobbly. I found some 1/4" fiberboard in my basement so I cut a piece of that and screwed/nailed it in place of the cardboard piece. Stiffened the whole thing up and is far more durable. It will serve the purpose I think.

Also, in the process of doing that my nose told me I had something dead in my basement. The smell of death was fairly potent but not to the disgustingly overpowering stage. Seemed to be stronger from the crawlspace area more so I poked around carefully and found another dead chipmunk. How the heck are these things getting in? I had one about a week ago. Got some cardboard scraps to scoop it up with and found when I poked it that it was still barely alive as it wiggled a bit :uhno: Got it scooped up and chucked outside, but obviously wasn't the source of the smell. Found another one that was truly dead behind some stuff and it seemed the smell may have been coming from it. I've been sick this past week and this lingering death smell is starting to get to me by this point :puke:I really hope that's the last of them, but I need to find out where they have gotten in apparently relatively recently and why they have decided to come in to my basement to curl up and die.

Nothing too exciting today. Catching up on the DVR and watching a couple movies. Going to unload the 1/2 ton of sand from the bed of the wife's truck.

Work and some reesearch

Somehow, between the parking lot and my desk, this morning, I managed to tweak my back. No idea what happened, but I felt a tightness in my right ribs when I sat down, then a few minutes later, it wrapped around to my entire mid back. No meds in my desk... Lovely.

Been trying not to move much, and luckily I never leave my desk anyway. Couple more hours to go, then a hot date with pain meds, and my TENS unit. Talk about a menage a trois! :raspberry:

Workin time

One more item to right up and then off work and time for bowling league. Need to better than last weeks dismal performance

Amidst the chaotic first time run of value pack toilet bowl(2 pack) cleaner at Clorox...lol. A big team has been troubleshooting all day, contracters are here to work on the equipment and work on the kinks and programming. More stuff goes into packaging than you think. My zone runs this stuff and its been quite interesting, an easy day, and time has been flying by.

Bought my girl some pink LED's for her Fusion. She's stoked, she loves to mod cars, but doesn't know how to do a lot. Lol, she's lucky she has me.
