Found out my grandma lost her battle with cancer. Probably going to detail my Olds and make the trip up north Thursday to be with my family and for the funeral.
Sorry for your loss man.

As for what I'm doing today, slinging pizza, patrols then finishing the kill switch install I started yesterday.

Up early this morning and knocked out the yard work. Continued to sort items for trash, yard sale, and packing. We should be ready to go for Saturday morning move as long as the manpower shows up. Took Friday off as well so we can have everything to go Saturday morning. Friends seem to get busy when it is time to move, just like the Comcast commercial :rotfl:

Finally off on the same day as the wife. Not sure what the plans are completely yet, but I know I'll be changing the oil in the TB, and the lawnmower.

Don't forget, watching the Bulls have 20+ turnovers, and trying to choke away the series, later tonight. :ugh:

I'm sitting at my desk, debating on if I should try to fake doing busy work, or try watching some more online training videos and hoping they don't make me nod off like yesterday. :hopeless:

Cold front came through last night, so today's highs are in the upper 70s. Perfect for basketball, but people either aren't here, or have other plans after work. I really should go by myself, at least for the practice, and get a little exercise in from chasing down missed shots, but I already know how that's gonna play out.

I didn't want to mention it because the last two times I said I was gonna watch da Bulls they played bad. Hope they can capitalize tonight, especially since K Love is now out for a long time. Hate to let an opportunity pass up to knock LBJ out.

I'll probably also watch a little of the NFL draft tonight to see who the Bears take.

Was going to go look at another TB but it sold. So instead I bummed around this morning, then decided to install my new lights on the outside of my garage as there was nothing on there before. Poked an electric eye through the side wall so they'll come on at dark and turn off in the morning. I put LED bulbs in the fixtures so together the lights use maybe 10 watts.

If we only lived closer...

Job hunting since my work is going to hell. They are promoting a guy to manager who doesn't deserve it and has anger management. He's now in charge of the schedule, only schedules me for 2 shifts a week and always sends me home early for dumb reasons. As well as making false accusations against me to our GM. Worst of all, my GM believes it and always says "Preceptoon is reality". Not only that, but my current manager has his hands tied and can't vouch for me because our GM likes the guy who's getting promoted better.

/end rant

Yeah that would be cool. Georgia appears to be a black hole on the forum.

Or Alabama. I'm the only member here. There's another member that the map says is here but his profile says Saudi Arabia and he won't reply to pm's.

As for what I'm doing today, just picked up the nephews toys and swept the living room. Getting ready for the return of their parents today.

Well I cut the grass for the first time at the new house. All I can say is I need a riding mower. Cutting a little over an acre with a self propelled push mower sucks.

I have 1/3 acre and I have a ride on...doooo it! Keep an eye on CL for a second hand older JD.

Start of a week of long arse days today, except Thursday. I have an interview at Lowes 5 minutes from home, so I might be able to ditch the Walmart gig and be there instead, still going to be long days with my F/T job and a P/T one.

Another Monday in the cube trying to be productive. Checking up on transferring services from current place to new place in a couple of weeks, and had a :dunce: moment. Should have checked all this stuff BEFORE signing the lease, as it appears the area I'm moving to has Verizon FIOS, but not the fiber optic stuff... It's DirecTV instead. Ugh, satellite in FL is hit or miss as it is, and the internet is DSL. FML. :sadcry:

I'll be doing this later this evening as well. Hopefully the few days of rest, and JR Smith being out, will be enough to make sure we steal both games in Cleveland. Hearing that Lebron has won at least 1 road game in every series means we need at least 2 on their floor. :worried:

Non-fiber FIOS? The heck, I thought that's all that FIOS was?

I'm trying to juggle several things at work, deal with stupid people, and speed up ridiculously slow RMA processes from a company. I've been waiting over a month for a couple of these things :squint:

This was my impression as well. Initially I had just checked the new address to see if I could get service there through their website, and when the address came up as good to go, I stopped there and went forward with the new place. Now I'm starting to think this is just DirecTV service hosted by Verizon?

If that's the case, it better transfer under that 2 year contract I signed. :hissyfit:

First, woke up refreshed after the Bulls beat the Cavs. Then I hung out with my dude for a little while before I had to drop him off at day care. Have been at work since. Gonna be watching the Blackhawks vs Wild tonight. Gonna be a tough game going into the Excel Center. After I get off work tonight I will probably have to stop at the liquor store and pick up some Dos Equis or Tecate to celebrate Cinco De Mayo.
