Sort of working, sort of not. Haven't trolled SSOwners since the VS take over, but got an email notification from an old thread I was subscribed to, so I figured WTH, I'd poke around and see if there was anything interesting. Stumbled onto a dumpster fire full of drama.

Long story short, one of their long time vets, who has a bit of a superiority complex, was pirating some GM tuning DVDs and trying to sell them across multiple forums. He was using the money from those, as well as some carbon fiber mods for members to fund building his race truck. Well the owner of the company that produces them caught wind of what was going on, and is coming after him for it. He even created an account just so he could post in his threads and call him out publicly. Nothing like reading about the commission of a felony, and that good old SSOwners environment, to get the day going :bonk:

All I can say is what a bunch of tools. We have drama here, but always come to a resolution. Over there it is all pointless. ForceFed seems like a real winner :2thumbsup:

Another day of working for the man.

You know what? A lot of the population on SSOwners are so full of themselves, VS taking over probably will never even be an issue.

In other news, decided for the heck of it, to check the status of my tax refund. IRS website says I should have my cash by Friday. :wooot: :2thumbsup:

Finishing up the last of my required hours for the work week. Off tomorrow, for the OATCCC clinic/conference in Columbus. Really excited to go. This will be my first clinic for either sport since I started coaching

I'm sitting here at home this morning because we had freezing rain come in and coat everything in ice. Slipped down my steps, then slipped my way to the end of the road, while blasting the defrost to keep my windshield thawed. Screw that, I'm staying put until it thaws out.

I'd rather another 4 inches of snow than 1/10 inch of ice. At least I can drive through the snow.

On a conference call right now and the wind is howling outside of my "office" I share it as a training room for our new EHR system. Lots of minor technical details I don't need to worry about

Siting at my desk. My son got me sick. One of he wonderful moments as a parent. When your child looks at you with his weak sick face, and you open you mouth to say "oh I'm sorry you don't feel better" then mid sentence he coughs right down your throat. Yeah...it's gonna be one of them weeks...

Cube life. Fixed a couple of things here and there. Noticed one of the cooling fans on my PC is dying, and groaning as it struggles to spin. Another fan is completely dead, so put in a trouble ticket so I can get some new parts.

The previously mentioned scenario that would have me sitting in the building's lobby waiting for someone to show up and open the office happened this morning. :hissyfit: Decided to say, screw the chain of command, and pulled the lady who keeps the keys and alarm code to the side. Apparently even though my boss, and the payroll/records dept said I was good to go on Monday, no one told her. FAIL :hopeless: She hooked me up with both, so now I can come in and steal everything in the office! Muah ha ha haaa!!! :satan:

Since that bit of important stuff is out of the way, I've noticed 3 guys get drug tested. To the back of the office they go with this dude, then they leave (to the bathroom), and walk back past my cube with a small filled cup. Wonder if that's for an upcoming contract job for a client, or suspicion of recreational use :undecided:

Now, just waiting for lunch time to roll around. Even though I've snacked today, I'm starving for some reason. We're supposed to play ball today after work, but people are being flaky. One guy backed out, another one I haven't seen in the office today, and another says it's too cold. It's supposed to be 71 today, how in the hell is that considered cold by any stretch of the imagination? I hate people sometimes. :hissyfit:

Luckily car wasn't moved an inch. I'm right there with you though. I'm surprised I had to pay the drop fee when my car wasn't even hooked up to the truck. What you see in the pic is right after I ran out.

Ever seen those things with about 8 inch wheels on either side of the boom on a tow truck? They can put those under the wheels, they're little dollies that pick the other wheels up off of the ground and have bars that attach them to each other. They use them on 4wd and awd vehicles to keep from tearing up the transfer case.

Feeling lost here without the whore thread, gonna have to become a silver member soon. Might go hunting in a little while, if not I'll be chilling on here and YouTube until it starts getting dark then going to town to see how my projectors perform in/around traffic.

Work. Tax refund. Church soon. For now, wandering the forum and studying up on a major issue I now have.... steering wobble! I suspect the tire or a wheel bearing, but no ABS code like I would expect from a really bad bearing, tires are almost worn but have no obvious signs of major problems, rim and control arms should be okay as I haven't been hopping into potholes, had a tie rod replaced last summer and an alignment along with it and the other checks out fine.... what am I missing here!?
