While at work today I had to stop at the local airport and caught an Avenger torpedo bomber leaving after the airshow this weekend. What an awesome sight that was and the pounding through your chest as it took off makes you stop and think how it was not too long ago...made the hairs stand up on my neck along with the goosebumps.

I could only imagine a squadron flying over, I wish I could have caught the engine starting.

Wow man that must of really been something to of seen that in person. I love old WW2-Era fighter planes & bombers
 
Work, then a game. We host our biggest rival tonight and for the first time since I played at the school, this game has playoff implications

Getting ready to head out to the trails. I'm doing a chili cook-up for my ATV club at one of the junctions in "The 5 points" near Bobcaygeon Ontario

Taking the written test for our sheriff's department. I got the second highest score for the city. Let's see if I can replicate the results.
 
DVR catch up then go unload trailer
 
Did some cleaning, had lunch, now clearing out the DVR some while contemplating what I want to run for my next projector retrofit. :undecided:

Dang, it was Manufacturers Day? I should have levied that into some hot dogs for the crew or something. Welp, there's always next year.

Don't know if that was the one flying around Philly a couple of weeks ago. But it even got my son's attention when I tore through the house to get outside when I heard that distinctive rumble of multiple radial engines.
