Trailvoy (Off Topic)

I've been demoted and banned. It still says "Super Moderator" under my name (they have to change that manually), but my name is in black and I can't sign in. There are only three moderators left...Big Ed, Black Ice and DucatiSS.

They took down some stuff I did, but I can still sign and and made a new thread going around the blockages, but still pointing here if someone is really in need of help.

Must be just a matter of time then, cuz I did the same thing. Maybe then people will stop sending me PMs and just come over here...

They must have still been working on mine. It now says "banned" under my name, so it's official now.
 
I said my good byes on the OS just now and posted a scathing denunciation of management. I expect to be banned now too. For me, the tipping point was the fact that they ran a script to wipe out references to GMT Nation. That move told me a lot. They can't face the fact that there are issues they refuse to deal with and that there is a mass exodus of membership.

Now Jman423 has been removed from Super Admin. It will be interesting to see where they go from here.

Should be fun seeing if they can moderate their own site! :undecided:

They probably couldn't give a rat's ass if their site is moderated or not, just as long as page hits keep coming.

Trailshaman, they deleted the thread already. Less than 30 minutes after I posted. As I said in the closing remark, they really have no clue what hit them and they are just taking a knee jerk reaction. Oh, well, the community is here now so I won't be missing anything important.
 
They booted me.

Mine does not say banned , but my password wont let me in.
 
I keep posting different come to G M T N A T I O N . C O M with a avg 5min until it is deleted. I think I'm gonna work'em some. nothing offensive just a constant invite to the nation.

If you really want to get banned quickly DL an Auto poster and setup a run for every second to post.

They wiped my sig, and deleted my avatar, but GMT Nation is still in my user profile fields. **And I was able to put the avatar back** I guess I have a newfound reason to get back on that site every day :redface:
 
ok I could see everyone's but my post in hardtrailz 2.0 intro thread when I wasn't but logged back in and they are there?
 
They have wiped everyones sig and i cant seem to be able to post a new sig now.
 
So they did, Big red letters aren't enough to get banned yet. I know how to but I'm gonna keep it clean:biggrin: gnat at a BBQ style!
 
Thats clever I wonder how long itl take them. Ive also noticed trailvoy is running slower and having more and more glitches.
 
If they are running active scripts in the background to "clean" threads and delete posts which they are doing then every one that they actively run on their Database(DB) is going to increase wait time and request time for the DB.

Additionally depending on your DB you have to do more indexing often which also takes cycle time on the DB. The problem increases exponentially with each additional script that is running against the entire DB. If you have noticed the search time in Trailvoy is much longer now. That tells me that their indexing is getting messed up due to the insert scripts that are running.

More or less they are killing their own site by trying to remove all the posts about GMTNation.

Saw the thread, saw that admin replied, but as soon as I clicked on it, the thread was deleted

The great part about being a site admin is that I know all of the things to do to create a new account and make their life miserable. Too bad they are the ones that caused this in the first place.

Some things I have to :lipsrsealed:

We knew this day would come, I didn't think it would take so long, but that shows how they pay attention. I bet the only reason they caught on is because the traffic has been super slow, and their profits have been down a lot.

I wasn't helping VS anyway, my services are provided to the members, and I can do that much more effectively over here.

They can't keep me from being a member over there, but they'll try :wink:
 
Quite honestly I believe the mass exodus of members, as well as convincing vendors to pull up stakes will hurt them far more than a few malicious posts.
