Seems some were banned and some don't even exist. I clicked on a thread in my subscribed threads that had 07 TB RIDER listed as the last poster, but in the thread he didn't show up. Tried clicking his name in the list, it gave me the profile of someone else. Tried searching his username and it finds NOTHING.
Whoa.
I wonder what will happen now that they banned the vast majority of their staff?
I'm still 100% functional however, though I haven't done a lot of linking to over here... yet

LOL they nuked my sig just a moment ago. I had an "innocent" "need more trailvoy help? click here" with the click here pointing to a tinyurl pointing here. Guess someone clicked it, hated it, and zapped it. lulz.
I put the sig image back and left the link out for now. I'm actually a tad bit surprised they didn't just ban me hah.

Hell, if they've already planted a spy over here, they could be reading all of this right now....that's how they know who to ban.....

Very true. I wonder their method of choosing how to go about the ban. For example, my account is still active. The link in my Sig to my business site is still there, but the gmt is gone. My avatar, which was simply a skull, is gone. My email has been changed....which means they can probably use my account. Some suggestive para were left, others deleted.

I haven't been banned but my signature was removed which had a tinyurl link. Saw one thread where most on it were banned:

I buried my tinyurl link IN my sig pic, so now the whole pic is the link to here, but it doesn't say "click me" or anything. Hovering the mouse over the pic shows the hand icon for a link, which may get some people curious. We'll see how long it takes them to figure that one out.

It should not have taken almost a week for them to see that members were pissed and leaving with the quickness. If people hadn't posted all the huge signature pics, they probably still wouldn't know.
Sounds like they are moderating all posts. Just another example of them inconveniencing the members that decided to stick around.

Yeah something is royally screwed up, I see the missing posts, but I saw the same thing in the LED Mod Thread earlier today. Maybe they will crash their site, and FORCE everyone to come over here...

Well well, someone found my embedded link in my sig image. Sig image still there, link nuked.
No PMs, no warnings, no bans, no disabled anything yet that I see, just the removed link. I just used another web browser to check the site (seeing it from the public's point of view) and I'm not on any universal ignore either.

I don't imagine they have a playbook to cover the jailbreak scenario. Like "New" Coke, Toyota unintended full-throttle events, Intel Pentium math flaw, etc. Companies often react poorly in the initial heat of the challenge.

I feel as though there was nothing wrong with the OS. To be honest, I never donated because I couldn't but to me it was a bank full of great information, so to me it was more of a free service. They can post ads all they want, doesn't mean I had to click them, even though I never got any since I have adblocker.
Being a member since 2005, I saw the site change, a bit to the worse, but that had to do with certain members, and not the website itself. Seeing this new comminuty here kinda makes me excited because I remember the good old days (somewhere around 2006-2008). The OS was the place to be for me and the members there were almost like family.
I just don't support the spamming that went on in the past week. I'm the type of person that, if there's something I don't like, I will just quietly move away. There's no reason to set a bad impression before you leave by trying to get banned.
I've contributed a lot to the OT and I plan on contributing to the site here through how-to's. It's kinda sad to see what's going on, even if they did change for the worse.
Oh, and no TL/DR posts!

Looks like they are seriously moderating the posts. Just because you post and YOU can see it, doesn't mean anyone else can see it. Not everyone is being moderated. I am guessing that since I can still see the posts that I made, and no one else can, that no moderators over there are working right now. Those posts could sit for a long time.
Yeah I just logged out and went to look again, and no more me.
well depending on how they initially setup the ban they can block your IP so no accounts from there can be created or logged in.
