Look REALLY close at the grill crossbar. Like, zoom the eff in. Saw this at food lion today. The big mannish lady who owned it did not take kindly to me taking a pic of it. I got yelled at. Poor TB :sadcry:
What a bitch....lol

I'd take that grille in a heartbeat though.

At some point I'm gonna get an LT bumper and the spec D grille and make a 3 piece knock off. It's really irritating to have to remove the grille and crossbar every time I need to mess with my headlights. And you guys KNOW how often I'm doing that!! :hopeless:

That looks like a cross between the spec-d and SS grille. Those are definitely some wide rear tires though.

Almost looks like they forgot to paint the mirror covers unless its the lighting.

Yeah, there's more pics of that truck floating around here, and on the OS. It gets resurrected almost as much as the white topless EXT does. I also noticed the side mirrors, I thought it was cuz I just rolled out of bed... I think the grille is a mix of the 2, with the crossbar pieces fiber glassed to the spec D grille. Now that I see the pieces don't fit flush across the front, I might have to get creative when I get around to doing my mod. :undecided:

If it's in a public area, pics are legal and allowed. Yell right back at anybody confused about the law. If they insist, start taking video and tell them to try calling 911. Google for "photographers rights". TSA sometimes attempts to restrict photography at airport checkpoints. They are almost always in the wrong and can bite me.

I actually carry a copy of those rights in my camera bag, in my pocket, a copy on my phone and in both dropbox and google drive. It is amazing how many people, including police, don't know that it is legal to take pictures of things in a public place.

Roadie is right on this, but there's a difference between being right and leaving with your window intact. And the TSA, while they can bite most of us, also have that uncanny ability to inspect you and your carry-on until 10 seconds after the door to the plane closes. I like dealing with the police when they tell me no pictures. I was in a public area photographing a different angle of the Golden Gate Bridge. Cop is trying to tell me no photos. Took a picture of his face and made sure his badge and number were visible. I made sure that it went to his supervisor with a notarized complaint that was signed by me and witnessed by seven others. Having a business license as a photographer, I said I wanted that officer and all the others to be informed of rights or I was going to file a civil rights lawsuit for violating my freedom of expression.

She was a big lady. I certainly had a right to be taking a picture, but I also enjoy having teeth.

Seriously though I just laughed at her and kept it movin'. Probably pissed her off more. I know my picture taking is legal, and she also had every right to yell at me. Evens stevens.

Can't stand the huge wheels with no tires look. But, if I got to the point of needing an oxygen tank, I'd look for a way to carry it with me no matter what I was doing.

Same here on the no tires look. Saw it on a work truck once. Can't believe the guy didn't get laughed off the job site. Also he was the only one parking in the street.

That oxygen tank on the motorcycle...are you saying that's a bad appearance mod? I would hope not because that's very disrespectful. Whichever one of those people it belongs to can't help that they can't go anywhere without it. It's actually pretty cool that they made a mount for it so that they could still ride.
I'm not sure if mounting it on a Harley like that is the best choice though. Right near a hot engine and above a hot exhaust system. Any errant spark or anything could mean huge trouble.

I'm more commenting on its location. I'm an avid rider and have been for years. I'm also a paramedic and don't one to have to respond to the call when it overheats and blows the valve. They make smaller tanks that would fit perfectly in the center bag away from the heat.

Yeah I agree about the location. And Noel, I gotcha, I just took it as you making fun of them for it and I didn't appreciate it after my dad was bound to oxygen for the last ten years of his life but I understand what you meant now, I apologize for the misunderstanding. But yeah, the smaller sized tanks would be better for them, they make little backpack style carriers for the small sized ones.

I work all the emergency services and have become jaded but I won't hate on a illness/injury that someone can't help. If they are bull$hitting to get medical treatment I'm not to kind about that.

Try to picture it 3 dimensionally. Its quite a distance from the pipes. The pipes would be under the bags. It wouldn't get the heat because it would be getting cooled as they rode. It might absorb a little if they were doing a parade or a traffic jam where there is no lane splitting, but if the stuff in bags (or the bags themselves) don't melt, that tank should be fine. Been riding for 44 years. The biggest pipe problems were a novice passenger's legs.

But also a huge risk if he would have to lay it down. Just scary. I've seen those bottles shoot through concrete walls.

No doubt. My first career was a firefighter. I remember seeing a 4500 psi Scott bottle get dropped from a bad harness. The firefighter was rehabbing, sitting on top of a truck. Bottle hit the pavement, popped the valve, and probably went 85-100 feet into the air. Very lucky it crashed down in a back yard, no injuries or damage.

I meant to say the drivers side. The triangle with a 3 next to it, as in Delta, Delta, Delta or tri delt. I live in a college town and I think I have seen that on a few cars here. Funny if that is his girls car.

Sorry everyone. The A looked like a triangle. Even with the picture blown-up it still looks like a triangle. I guess we know that I am not an Audi fan.

I think you automatically assume it's a civic because that's the crap civic owners do. His other car must be a '88 civic with a Vader body kit.
