Go with the new TRS XB bulbs at 5500. I have the 6000 and I only see a hint of blue if I look at them. On the road they are white. The 5500 in the new XB bulbs have the most lumens at 3300.

I have 5000k and that's really darn white. Whenever these bulbs die I'm thinking of going 4300k just because that ever so slight hint of yellow may help a bit when on back roads in the winter and everything is white as it is.

.... Or I just need to have fog lights with 4300k in them.

Booooo to any yellow besides 3K. Just makes me think of ugly halogens. I might just get 6K or 8K. I might just go with Kensun, like I always have and get their bulbs

FWIW, I'll be rocking my old Morimoto 3Five 6000Ks for a while. My tastes have changed since I got in the HID game, I think I'll be going with 4300K or 5000K the next time, these are a little more blue than I'd like. But they are still bright as hell.

You might see yellow with 4300 but shouldn't at 5000
I see no yellow with the 4500k as they appear white to me, not as white as the 5000k, but definitely no yellow or anything close to a halogen. They are only 500k away from the 5000k. I have also noticed HIDs have a different color when comparing them in a projector and in a reflector housing. Reflector housing appears to give them a slightly higher kelvin. Maybe that just me.

Are you talking about anything, but 3000k in the fogs? I ran them for a while in the OE reflector housing and was not impressed. Maybe 3000k would be better in a projector for the fogs.

For whatever reason, the new XB line is now 4500k and 5500k. The Morimoto XB line seem to be much brighter than their 3Five line. I cannot tell much difference in color between the 4300k and the 4500k.

My 4300k looks white on the road but I can kinda see it's a warmer white when it's on a white wall. Look warm white to me during the day when standing above the projectors looking at the lenses too, but get below the cutoff and all you see is stars lol.. I'm still quite intrigued with peeking directly into it... :rotfl: Definitely not a yellow halogen color though.

(they only have around two hours on them though, don't know how much they'll change as they break in)

I prefer 4.3-5K on my headlights, and my fog lights get nothing but 3-3.5K. I make fun of people who have matching head lights and fog lights. I guess they don't understand what they are designed to do lol

Why do engineers build vehicles with fogs lights and not install a 3000k bulb?

I've seen them before... They're not glow in the dark by normal terms because they're powered, but some can vary between shades of blue and green.
-while others are fixed color with only brightness controls.
Yeah I read their description, cool concept, but nobody should have to power it on....
Decided I want an SS gauge face with clear needles. $40.00 for friggin clear needles [emoji53]

It only glows a color if you power it...otherwise, it'll be just a white face gauge.
Lol they try to put that in fine print

SO...It is now tax season and I know, yes I KNOW what you guys are thinking. Maybe you can order a crap load of mods for your truck since you have all this extra money coming back? Well I am telling you that you CAN fight the urge! you don't need that 3" lift kit no, and you don't need any more LEDS! Think of your family and what you may be putting them through. Just. Say. No.

Yeah I figured I would go ahead and place the order since I know my tax return is on the way.

I got a lot of stuff, but didn't get everything on my watch list because I would probably have a heart attack from excitement if I ordered it all at once. lol

Those power folding mirrors are on that list though
