Are your speakers blown? I would start there...what good does a new radio do with no speakers?
Nothings blown, just wanting to upgrade. I was thinking of starting with the radio, the one I'm eyeing will be cheaper than two pairs of the cheapest speakers on the site I'll be getting everything from. (crutchfield) Cheapest speakers (6x8) are $50 a pair, radio is $90 (kenwood).

Worst case scenario, it sounds worse than it already does...which I doubt will happen. In comparison, the factory non-Bose radio in the TB sounds about twice as good as the factory non-MACH radio in the stang.

Yes and I did plan on making the rear wiper switch hole wider so I could fit another gauge in it's place

Well, that's as good of an excuse as any. I haven't found a good excuse yet.
"Cuz I want one..." How's that? If you don't plan to use it frequently and wanna save a few $$$, get an off brand rotary tool from Harbor Freight. Those would be fine for cutting up plastic (most of our mods) or smoothing edges and stuff like that. :twocents:

I may eventually do that as well, whenever I get to the point of painting my truck I am planning on shaving the rear hatch so I will need something to put in that hole. Lol
The fact you have kids proves you can fill certain holes anyway lol

Looks smooth, but would be cool if you changed the glass handle to something custom. Maybe black billet so it blends, but when looking it shows as one more lil creative touch.

Lol

This is how I want to do the hatch. I want to leave the handle and glass popper button and shave everything else. With ss rear bumper.

As long as you conveniently overlook the spinner rim trailer hitch insert :nono: :puke:

That would definitely help with preventing liftgate rust issues. No stupid seal to let water in.

If you use an SS bumper where are you going to put the license plate?

All that work shaving the rear hatch and they left the ugly LS bumper

I am thinking about building a license plate holder to go in the hitch receiver. And it could plug into the trailer plug. If I need to tow a trailer I can just sit it in the back.
Thats if you can ever get your hands on a set of TBSS bumpers. JrSS going to sell you his grille? Thought you were going with a LT style grille?

Funny enough I actually like that setup....makes it look like the late Gmt330s that it replaced with the step type bumper.

I don't like the rear bumpers without the step in them.

It depends on how the TB or TBSS looks overall with an SS bumper for on it me to like it. I don't hate it, I don't love it. Depends on the rig

I don't like an SS bumper on a TB that's not lowered, looks awkward
