It's a metallic silver, cap on the can was chrome like I wanted but no, can't have that. :rotfl: Got two coats on it, gonna put a couple coats of clear on hoping it makes it look more chrome-ish. Got the projectors lined up pretty well, just hope I didn't turn them when pulling them off.

The lock nut is supposed to deform and lock it on but I like your idea better. Been wondering how I'd get it tight enough to deform without wrecking the rotation in the process.

Yeah you might crack the housing before deforming the nut. Loctite is always a good option. I will use some on the nut and bolt to hold mine in place before closing them up.

I'd say I have been about 75% done for weeks now. Trying to track down another set of shrouds set me back a couple weeks. Still need to dremel the bumper to mount them to the truck, check alignment, trim/install shroud, and then seal them up.

I have also been waiting on my 25' of 24awg wire that came in so I can wire up the solenoid to my hi beams so I will have a true 6 hi mod.

Gotcha. Are there dremel cutting bits like drill bits? It's extraordinarily hard to cut circular shapes with a disk lol. I would just get it as close as I could then use a sanding drum attachment to get it round

Walmart had "drill bits" is that what I'm looking for? I guess I'll need to hop across the road and check out Lowes next time I'm at Walmart. I'm liking the dremel so far. Extremely handy.

Or you can pick up a DeWalt hammer drill and get attachments for that. Many uses for a Dremel.
