Maxed out at Android 4.1.2 here.

Biggest breaker for me on iPhones are the shitty battery life and a screen that's as delicate as a testicle.
If you remember to turn off the wifi when not in use you get decent battery life. As for the screens, my 5, in a cheap soft surround (not a case, but this:ImageUploadedByTapatalk1421894600.830388.jpg)
Flew off my roof at 50 MPH, bounced a dozen times and landed on the yellow line screen down. Got to it before it was run over and it's fine. I dropped my 3GS a lot as well, but it too had a basic case. I see just as many Samsung and others broken as I see Apple.

Well got 4 other opinions on the whole cracked block thing, AND the guy I went to who is supposedly a mechanic and owns a shop LIED to me!!!!! He must have thought I was stupid and wouldn't go asking others (due to the fact that I am a female, and shouldn't know anything about vehicles, and wouldn't be smart enough to get other opinions). So looks like I will get to keep my baby!!!! Yay!!!!! I'm so pleased! Not here, every third person you see likely has, or has had a shattered iPhone. It's ridiculous.

When I saw your post the other day about it I thought "hmmmm, that's odd" because I've never heard of an i6 block cracking. Maybe that first shop is just full of incompetent fucks who don't know TB's too well because I don't see how them telling you that your block is cracked would make them any more money so I don't see any reasoning for them to lie. Just don't go back to them, obviously incompetent or assholes, but probably both.

Glad you get to keep her. :tiphat:

Yea, like I always so I am no mechanic so I had no idea. I think he was thinking he was gunna get me to buy a new motor so he could install it, which I am glad I didn't follow through! There is however a coolant leak which I have been told numerous times by the mechanics I normally go to. The guy I had check my TB for the "cracked block" is a guy I deliver parts to from work. So for him to even lie to me really pisses me off! I have no intentions of going back to him. I don't see how he gets so much business. So I am sticking to my original plant of the extra lift, cooler, and slightly bigger tires, along with the fender cutting.

Gotcha. So what did the others say? I'm guessing head gasket or water pump or it's gasket.
They don't even know where the dude got his information at all. All they found was a coolant leak (which I didn't find out where or how, didn't think to ask that) which in that case I have no idea where the cracked block came from. Like I said I am assuming because I am female he assumed that I wouldn't know anything and could damn near tell me anything.

I blew up my mom's car with a coolant leak at when 17. On the way to pick her up from the airport too. Sad thing is I had my own ride and knew she had a coolant leak. Find it and fix it. Pretend it's blood! You wouldn't put off a bleeding wound would you?!? It was a hose and I used tape that obviously didn't hold up.

He also might have just not wanted to work on it. I've seen that. For the coolant leak, get a pressure tester. If you find it leaking out, usually an easy fix. If no outward leak, it's probably a head gasket. That is not so easy but a lot less expensive than a supposed cracked block. throw some paper or cardboard underneath and it'll tell you where it's leaking from.

My TB radiator only leaked when cold. Didn't leak with the pressure tester. If I let it idle for 5mins I had a puddle and traced it that way. Leaked slow enough not to lower resevoir level much.

Only reason that I guessed those things is because of the "cracked block" diagnosis so I figured the leak was somewhere on the block.

So, why was it in the shop anyways? Lol

Could maybe be a heater hose connection off the backside of the block. Harder to locate.
