iPhone 5S FTMFW! Jailbreak, and put just about any software I want on it. None of the bs issues with rooting it. Fuck up rooting and you take the phone in for service. Fuck up jailbreak means you push a button. Not sure about you folks, but I don't want to carry around a tablet. Better games, better security, almost impossible to get malware or virus. Only drawback is battery is not swappable or user replaceable. But I had my iPhone 3GS for over 4 years and never had a problem with the battery.

Biggest problem with iPhone is non expandable memory, that problem is what more or less eliminated the Samsung Galaxy Alpha from the list.

Everyone I know that has a Android is not running the latest OS on their phone because it's not available. WTF is that about?
Some phones are limited to a set level of upgrades.

Unless they have a nexus the carriers control the OS.

Samsung Samsung Samsung :whore: s

My phone is 2 years old and should be getting Android 5 soon.

Usually 3 year old iPhones don't get the latest OS. Android on the other hand......after a year or 2 it's out dated.
My current Sony just got its last update and it's still stuck with jelly bean... I'm looking at the Motorola Moto G as a temporary phone from now until December....because at the rate this Sony is pissing me off I would not be surprised if it met a mini sledgehammer soon...

Soon? I think you're helping my case for iPhones.
Hardly. Android 5 just got released late last year, and Samsung (And then the carrier Sprint) have just been a bit slow to put together the package for the GS4. More the maker's fault than anything to do with Android itself. But it doesn't really bother me either.

Direct head-to-head would be iPhone vs Nexus. Nexus is pure Android and gets the updates almost immediately.

Besides, Android 4.4 still beats the snot out of iOS version anything :raspberry:
