1st half of road trip completed.....stopped to stretch then back on the road again for another hour or so.
 
Hope everyone is enjoying their 4th! Time to head to work and build some engines and transmissions.
 
Well I made it to the camp about an hour and a half after my last post. So now I will be out here for 3 weeks. They are supplying a truck for use on camp and they rented an entire house for the security team out here. Best part? Wifi in the house so now I'm very glad I grabbed both laptops before I left home. (Learned to carry a back up in case one conks out from previous jobs like this)

Fireworks from the deck!

Anyone else use to shoot bottle rockets from the back of a pickup bed? How about "bottlerocket wars" or "roman candle wars"? man times have changed.
 
Bottlerockets are illegal in my state, unless I travel an hour to get the good "stuff."



BTW, ATT sucks! Spent an hour and half with customer service to tell me my DSL will be down intill tomorrow at 8:30pm because they are working on a sever. Lucky we have a Verizon 3G broadband air card.

I was off Wednesday and Thursday until 2300. My Director was nice enough to leave me an email saying that he changed the weekend duty schedule. Instead of working this weekend, it is next. Which is good because I would leave here Friday morning at 0700 and have to return Friday at 1400 and stay until 0100 Staurday morning. At least now I do not have to cancel my plans on the river for this weekend :thumbsup:
