What's your weather like ?

Amazingly, it got up to 57º today. Just a tease though, we are getting 8" of snow starting late tonight through monday

Dunno the temp, but we got SNOW! probably 5-6" so far since about 8pm last night, and more on the way with a winter storm alert out for the day today.

They told us 3 to 6. It's currently in the 6 to 9 category. 29 degrees fahrenheit a few hundred feet from the Ohio, so many people have packed the snow down the plows can't really get it to come all the way up, and at least over here looks like they're tossing more salt than sand which kept me from getting up the road to work. Deciding if that's a good thing or not :undecided:

Today the sun is out and shining brightly.

This is CaptainKD reporting to you live from the beautiful suburbs of Chicago, IL. Back to you in the studio......

Not snowing :frown:

Kane County, IL has a Winter Weather Advisory for a storm coming this evening with potential of 2-4" of snow and 20-25 mph winds.

I have come to accept that winter will never end and I will never see summer again :frown:

Cold again and cloudy. -12c this morning when I left work. Calling for a storm tonight.

23 degrees and 4 inches of snow, more on the way...oh yay

I'm over it. Either snow a couple feet or just stop.

Gonna be nasty....looks like I have ice coming for my commute home.

What's the use of a 4WD Trailblazer when everyone is doing 25 MPH? May as well just drive my WS6.

Because if the snow plows are stupid or inexperienced, there may be hazards left on smaller roads that a car isn't going to chance, but a TB can hop over 18" drifts left behind as long as the plow didn't pack it too tight. Could be a time saver.

dumping snow on us currently

21 degrees and still snowing, 8 inches so far

Sucks! It's winter...... in Iowa.

Yeah, I know that feeling. I also know a guy who used to ride his 1970s bicycle 3 miles through the snow to work every day and back unless it was about 2 feet deep, then he'd just walk  :rotfl:

That's the "nose" of Iowa for you.

27* and raining. Calling for 1/4" to 1/2" of ice. I will take 12" of snow over 1/2" of ice any day.

^^^I agree.

I will also take the 8'' snow we are getting and the 22* over upper 30s and drizzle.

Shovelled 3x last night, and am going out right now for more. At least this round of global warming is not the heavy, wet stuff!

Its pretty warm out right now. Its 27* already got between 2-5" (too much drifting snow to tell actual number) and they are talking about another 2-5 between now and noon when the storm will stop.

we got some snow, but its still 3 degrees and windy

I haven't gone out in it yet but we have 3-4 inches or so, but it mixed some sleet and freezing rain into it also last night. I guess some roads are fine, others are quite slick. My truck has ice on the windows but not sure how thick.

A bunch of snow. A bunch of sun. A bunch of dumb midwest drivers that act like this is their first time driving in winter :hissyfit:

Garbage. Went off the road since we have all curves thanks to mountains, went from being okay to drive at 45-50 to suddenly needing about 25 without warning (since the roads were already affected). Took out a trash can and a little "fence" that was just pieces of wood set up on cinder blocks. As far as I know the damage is cosmetic. Brush guard under the front, a little chunk of bumper cover in the lower cowl, maybe a few other dings. The support member under the front that the front of the skid plate bolts to has a ding in it, too. I'll find out more as I drive it around more, limped home just to be safe. Wonderful West Virginia.

Oh, you'll love it!

It snowed over here. Then rained on the snow. Then sleeted on the rain that couldn't be absorbed or drained away, that's on the snow.

Glad you are ok hope like you say truck is good.
Lots of snow here and still snowing

Wasn't any more sounds than there were before :rotfl: all lights appear to work, did just a cursory glance under the hood while waiting for my tow but everything seemed to be in order still, alignment seemed about the same. Weather needs to clear out for like just a couple days, where I can actually get under there.

Just kinda regretting not adjusting my policy when I turned 25 and it went down like 40 bucks a month, still on the $1000 deductible collision, and that's a bit steep. I may have to arrange a personal loan if I want to get it all fixed.

I'm not really in shock or anything, just mainly upset. I'm still two years out on loan payoff, $1000 deductible to get it all patched up and I don't like the new "body mod" (just noticed my one running board is bent upward a little bit too but I could probably get that pushed back down), tore up someone's yard, the lady who owns the property may make a claim on my insurance but that remains to be seen, and this has really never happened to me before, at least not like this. First time for everything. Hindsight's 20/20, I should have been going slower just in case, and I'm wondering if I let off the brakes if it wouldn't have caught a little bit and kept me from going so far in (or in at all), since it seems even with ABS when you're sliding the truck likes to keep its forward momentum the moment you touch the brakes.

Had a nice 1/4" of ice covering my entire vehicle when I left work the other morning. If it would have been colder, we would have had tons of snow.

Currently, 25* and dry. Got another snow storm hitting this weekend. Is it spring yet?

it is 0 and windy, which supposedly equals -17....time to break out the coffee thermos
