What's your weather like ?

How's your gas mileage in the cold weather..??

Ours is down roughly 2mpg from what we get in Summer. The TB runs well enough....no problems....it's just 'gruff', especially setting off from a standing start in 1st gear.

It sucks lol. About 2 to 3 MPG down depending in how I drive

-35 windchill it's a blast working outside today

Had a little snow last night and its -9* now. 15" of snow and some major drifts. Luckily the ss started up as we shoveled the 4" barrier at the end of our driveway. Fun fun. Work was also canceled. Cabin fever.

In my scoob-aru this morning, man it's unlike any winter we have had in a looong time here in southern ohio.

12ºF right now and dropping. Going to be -5ºF at 7am with a wind chill of -20ºF. Going to be great leaving work in the morning

-11 outside with a -35 or under wind chill. It is so darn cold and the wind is blowing hard enough that I shut the truck off, started it 5 min later after putting some stuff in the office, and the temp gauge had dropped by 3 or 4 hash marks and it took several minutes before it came back up to full temp. So when I got home I turned off the engine and watched the gauge - under 30 seconds before it dropped 2 ticks. Geez.

At least my pipes aren't frozen! I left the water running this morning with a small but steady stream (vs just dripping which did not work) and it is still running. Yay!

That is typical with the winter blends they do at the pump...nothing to do with cold itself. Fuel would produce crappy MPG at 80 degrees as well.

18° w/ 25mph gusts.

Not good. Never thought about my HIDs no firing up. I will definitely need those this morning. Wonder why your fogs fired, but lows didn't :undecided:

Now I am definitley waiting, to hear a cure, before messing with the lights

Dunno....now I will hafta put in my clear corner headlights and use halogens till I figure it out. This sucks.

A quick search and a hit on a bmw forum has a few folks turning their switch on before startup or allowing the car to run a little, seconds, longer before turning lights on. Are yours auto or on with a switch? Cheap bulbs too. Good luck.

It was a brisk 35 degrees on the mirror, and my EXT shivered for most of the commute. I knew that a lot of Floridians can't drive, especially when it rains, but now I know they can't drive when it's near freezing either. Took 15 minutes longer than usual to get to work
:smiley_kill:

Official report -22ºF coming home from work. Took over 20 min for the TB to warm up. Ice cold leather sucks.

Edinboro! My girl's grandma lives out on wattsburg rd- we were up there around the 15th of December- soooooo much snow.

Tons of gmt360s up there too. I've never seen so many Ascenders.

My HIDs fired up no problem. Stop buying cheap HIDs :raspberry:

It was -2º this morning, felt like -25º. My TB and Morimoto HIDs in my lows and fog fired right up.

Heat wave is coming ). 15º right now, by Friday it is supposed to hit 51º. Sunny and clear skies. Good day to wash the TB

-31ºC this morning, -43 with the wind chill. I think it is due to warm up today, though. I hope so because we have very limited heat at work here.

36º and raining. Going to be 60º and raining Saturday. Still going to hit the car wash. Have a nice white layer of salt all over the TB.
