Fedex tracking shows it has not moved since Saturday :hissyfit:
And therein lies the problem with Fedex. They don't work on weekends and their tracking system is like USPS...updates once every few days.

Ordered a new turn signal and wiper stalk. Can anyone help me find a step by step?
Disconnect power to prevent any chance of air bag going off on you. Split steering column covers (top and bottom). Locate any screws/clips holding turn signal stalk in column and remove. Disconnect wiring harnesses. Remove stalk. Reverse steps with new hardware. That's the short version.

It's that simple? Lol. I've searched other Chevys and it seemed similar. Thanks Carlton!

A proper thank you would be posting progress pics of your retrofit!! :deal:

But you're welcome all the same.

I will do it soon! I sort of moved away from home, and didn't have the space or time at the new place to start them again. I plan to start them again.

How about mine?

Hey, how big is the oven at your new place?

Is fiberglassing shrouds an option?

I didn't know you were doing quads, you'll definitely like the light output, that's for sure. My oven is about the same size as my last one.

I've seen people fiberglass shrouds before, so since you've got that experience down already, shouldn't be too hard for you to knock something out.

If by quads you mean four projectors, I'm not doing that. Still mapping out what I'm going to do led-wize... keep changing my mind...

I think the LED part is what got you hung up the last time, so you bought an Impala to work on instead :hopeless:

So you rerouting your low beams to the high beam spot and putting LEDs in the low beam bowl or something?

I figure I never use the hi beam so might as well put something there. Thinking about buying some rolls of led strips to mess with. I'm actually more interested in seeing if I can mount them in large signs at my properties in place of fluorescent lighting, would save me a lot money in power bills as well as maintenance

Replaced a faulty coil pack that didn't cost me a dime thanks to a warranty and some "persuasion." cleaned the throttle body again while I was there, Also finally got around to painting the chrome trim that encircled my grille and my front emblem.

Just maintaining what you've already seen
But we love to see a sexy TB, no matter if we've seen it 10 or 100 times

Replaced the broken trailing arm. Truck is now back on the road.

Sadly, I don't think it will be sometime next year. The rear suspension mounting points are rusting through, as are the attachment points on the frame. I would be really surprised if it would make it another two years without catastrophic failure at this point :frown:

So instead of putting in a driveway at the house I'll probably be buying another GMT instead next summer.

At least you can recoup a little money parting out ol' rusty. You know how the vultures like a parts truck :satan::

fixed it! :wooot: thought the clanging noise was loose flexplate bolts. after removing the starter and taking the impact to them, didn't see them budge... noise still there. then I found the O2 sensor was loose and rattling! seems that the ceramic coating must have been pretty thick and when it softened up, the sensor came loose... brake line banjo bolts will do that to powdercoat as well fyi... :duh: :yikes:

Gonna be my parts truck first!

I'd like to find another green one and just transfer all my mods/lift/etc over to it. Green machine lives on vicariously lol. Thing is, I would like to get an 06+ next time but this green wasn't offered then
