Nothing it looks like, except corn fields

One of my buddies that is still in the Marine Corps is stationed here for recruiting duty. Me and the wife came to visit for a few days while I am on vacation.

Seen a few GMTs already, pretty much all stock though.
Haha welcome to the Midwest where we have nothing but fields.. Lol

At least you missed the big storm by a few days.. Had one of the biggest car dealers out that way get hit with baseball size hail.. Over 4300 cars totalled.. That storm just went to the south of me by about 15-20 miles so my TB was safe haha

That's good. I seen someone posted a pic of that baseball sized hail. That would definitely do some damage. I think where we are at, we are only 10 miles from Iowa.

How far are you and Ryan from Omaha?

I have to admit the new Thunderbird has a nice retro design. There's one running around in the Parkersburg area.

We'll line up a mini-meet and make you make it over this way. :rotfl:

Oh yeah, what I did today. Worked. Double-time the whole time so whatever. Then went down to the city to find what wanted to burn through my wallet the most.

About to jump on the highway heading to New Orleans to visit family while on vacation but I don't think we're going to Georgia as planned wife changed her mind lol. So I'm going to make a short journey to Pensacola. I haven't been there since I was 12.

weezer was great last night. and the rangers blew it :(

time for some brunch, then count the hours until Game of Thrones is on :)

Relaxing on couch

Another exciting day of brokers class...

Back to work today.

At work, feeling old and out of shape. Got some odd aches and pains going on, took me a minute to realize it was from inspecting my brakes and such yesterday. I need some air/power tools to make that stuff easier!! :frown:

Cleaned and painted 4 old mud flaps so they'll look like new save some money!! Turned out well! Got the idea while I was spraying my new dock hardware and had paint left over so....might as well re use the old flaps!

Sheeting in my addition at the cottage while fighting off the mosquitoes! :hissyfit:

Now I'm in for a while until the mosquitoes chill out! Drinking 2nd coffee :coffee: :coffee: and surf'in the GMT.

Think I'll give my :twocents: :twocents: worth somewhere where it won't probably be wanted. :hopeless:

Practicing my typing speed with some free online typing tests. Finally got a call from one of the many places I've been applying at. The County Clerk of Courts called me today for the title and passport positions that are open. First step is to pass the typing test they issue (have to type 60 wpm), then the interview, then whatever happens next :rotfl:

only thing is, i cant get past 58 wpm :hissyfit: Back to practicing!

Studying Finance n License Law....sucks

Work and going on to try the next item on the list of home remedy's on , making it look better/repairing, my hard wood floors in the library. Rather not spend alot of money on a new floor if I don't have to. Even tho that whole house needs new floors.

been practicing my typing speed all night and all morning. Finally cracked the 60 wpm mark and I'm now averaging anywhere from 63-65 wpm. Only thing is, im not nervous at home. So im sure i lose a little bit of speed and accuracy while actually taking the test in front of the instructors. Test is at 2pm. back to practicing!
