They made a couple promotions that had some haters stirring and I gave him a heads up to cut it off before it could blow up.

Took the wife out to supper at a greek restaurant she likes...... Going for the brownie points

Just got home. Got stuck in loading two days in a row. Hey, did you know our patio doors at the standard 96" height weigh 205 pounds? I do now.

Why do I think that I saw in one of the threads that TheRodie lives in the San Marcos area of San Diego County. Our news here
indicates that area is in the fire zone. I hope and pray that he and his family are safe and sound.

Mrs. Roadie and I are fine. There are ten fires in the county now. Closest one to my office in Carlsbad was one mile south and we closed early yesterday. I live in Vista and two fires got within five miles of us, but no evacuation. We can bug out in minutes, and live out of the Roadiemobile for a week: food, water, shelter. The ultimate bug-out vehicle. I'm not the only one in the county though. Check in, guys.

Hope everyone and your family is safe roadie! And everyone else in that area!

Laundry... woo

Hitting up the grocery after work then finally installing my BrakeMotive rotors and pads. The paint has had five days to cure, so I think I am good.

Also putting the winter wheels and tires back on while I send the TBSS wheels out to get repaired and the polished finish restored. I found some surprises once I removed the plast dip from them

Workin

Work, then home to meet the guy that will be staying with me and Red for the summer while he looks for teaching jobs. Probably finish ripping out the carpet and pulling up the tack strips in the bedroom. Then drinking the rest of the night.

I saw a late 90s Blazer today. No pictures of the story, as I was making a turn on a 4-lane road and using cell phones on the road is a primary offense now in WV.

It appeared the original from-the-factory color is a brown. The whole front and one of the rocker panels is black (likely a fix from an accident). 1/3 to 1/2 the windshield was completely obstructed from the inside... by McDonald's bags and other trash. That means I couldn't see any deeper to see what kind of internal damage there was.

But it had some sweet 20" awesome-looking, decently-shined rims on it!

Mowing the grass, washing the TB, then putting on the vinyl film that just arrived yesterday. Oh yeah and drinking some beers.

Watching videos of urban exploration, abandoned places in particular. Something about a building that was built, served its purpose for decades, and then abandoned and (mostly) forgotten all before you were born, it's crazy. It puts perspective on how even the most invincible-looking things can wither away, and that's somehow fascinating. And as a history nut, there's extra bonus points for those who provide background on the building they're exhibiting.

Drinking

In laws just left. We had them over for dinner. Grilled some chops.
