Held an impromptu sorta-kinda 360/370 gathering at Harbor Freight. I pulled in and wandered inside to have a look around as I do. I come out and there's an Envoy next to me, an EXT across from me, and across from the EXT is a SWB TB. Interesting!

My phone takes crappy pictures and I'm a little side-tracked with maybe or maybe-not having lost my job because my group leader (middle manager between us and proper supervisor) is whiny.

The exact words the supervisor said to me was "don't let the door hit your a** on the way out. That's a hint. A strong one." Which technically violated the Code of Conduct as there's no swearing allowed, and was downright rude as it was in front of one employee and near a few others instead of giving me some dignity. It's employment-at-will so any reason not protected by law, or no reason at all, is allowed. The reason being I asked my group leader if he needed to borrow someone's glasses as he wasted material cutting three items in the wrong color (and wasting my time to recut, too). This is my speculation though as I was never informed of the reason, and if no reason is stated I can at least collect unemployment. I've seen two others get in cussing matches with the same guy and only get moved to another line, and a third guy who outright lashed back at authority and is just getting a transfer, too. Don't know why I'm singled out, but I know the popular rumor as that my sexuality is "questionable" even though I'm straight, but if that influenced the decision I could have a wrongful termination case, maybe. I also feel that I was placed in the same position constantly even though there was a job rotation deal run by the company in an attempt to get me to quit (job placement daily was selected by the group leader, I was stuck on build/inspection rack four days this week), and if I had quit (it was the crappiest position on the line) I may have also had a wrongful termination suit. I'm not sure if job rotation is just a thing they strive for or something officially written into company policy as there's literally hundreds of pages on all the policies and we were only provided with overviews of some things, with additional materials available on request.

I was told this ten minutes before the end of shift, and the wording sounded like right now, but they let me finish my work first. I should have just dropped it, cleaned up nothing, let the remaining units sit unfinished and carts unwrapped. I'm going in on Monday to speak to HR and the plant manager. If I can't have my job back, whatever, because the group leader has a reputation for pissing people off and they may have a problem dealing with a couple others on the line when they hear of my termination and they are the most out-spoken group I've ever encountered. I will also ask for time punch details for Friday as I had lost my timecard, if it set for something other than 6:57 PM it's either going to be corrected or a report will be made for being required to labor without pay.

Today I went with my dad and we did some rearranging of our GM "parking lot/graveyard".

We drove our 1992 Winnebago Chieftain and 2001 GMC Jimmy to our "shop" to get cleaned up and worked on. Then we took my TB and air compressor back to the lot (filled up the flat tires) and used dad's '05 Silverado 2500HD to muscle the 1984 K5 Blazer and 1988 G20 van out of their ruts, up the hill, and onto the asphalt spots previously taken up by the Jimmy and RV.

(That's a 1989 Jimmy to the right of the K5)

Don't worry, I didn't back into the G20.

Went for a road trip with Leathernecks Nation MC out of Maryland and stopped at a couple Harley dealerships, so many options. The Harley V-Rod Muscle looks awesome and feels great.

You'll like this Blckshdw, even Harley is getting onboard with projectors.

Got up at 6:30, got the family up and got together with my sister and brother in law for some seasonal road cruising and ended covering five counties and 160+ miles of trails. Absolutely awesome and the early spring melt off made for some beautiful scenes and wet areas. Loved it all.

Thank you all. The little one is cut, scraped, n bruised but no internal injury or broken bones. Should recover just fine. Her mom is getting emergency leave soon. Could have been far worse.

Thank you all again.

Waiting for the battery to charge on the little man's Power Wheels. Has a little Dodge Viper SRT-10 thing, I really wanna see it with the safety peg removed for the high-speed.

Went driving for like 3 hours today, just wanted to see some Appalachia and southern Ritchie county and Wirt county did not disappoint. Wound up at Home Depot where I got an allen wrench set (I have some already, but the biggest size isn't that big) and wire pliers (lost mine at some point), along with a couple light switch covers that we were missing around the house.

A nice long drive helped me clear my head from Friday's events and plan my talk out with HR tomorrow morning.

Busy day today. Mowed the grass for the first time this year and did some trimming. Cleaned the deck and moved all the outdoor furniture from the basement to the deck.

Cleaned all three floors of the house in preparation for the brother-in-law and his family coming in town Monday. I don't think my liver is prepared for his week here.

Did a little cleaning on the TB and removed my in track wind deflectors.

Worked till 10:30am and then started a seven day vacation. I'm gonna fish and fish and spend time with the family. And probably finish sheet rocking a couple more rooms and paint.

Just got home a bit ago. My potential issue at work turned out to be a gigantic misunderstanding.

Glad to hear that, although it sounds like that manager needs to be reassigned to another position if he doesn't play well with employees.
