Hope you had a good visit and she's doing well

Thanks, she is doing is a hell of alot better than Monday. She went in Saturday with stomach pains, turned out to be a hernia from a recent bariatric surgery. Surgeon went back in to repair and hit the abdominal aorta with one of the instruments. She lost 6 pints of blood, but another surgeon came to the rescue. Last I heard from my mom was that they where coming home today (sat), will have to go check in the morning.

What I did today..

Redecked the snowmobile trailer. Fired up both sleds, got them loaded on the trailer. Parked them outside (wife and her ASStek wants their parking spot back). Cleaned up the garage. Wired in some cable to the garage for TV. Went shopping for air compressors and air tools. Went shopping for a 10/22 rifle.

Now heres the funny part. I only had 2 chores on my "Honey Do" list, get a new copy of the door key for the wife, and get a new chainsaw chain. Neither of these got done!

Just bought 4 17" 6 spoke Infiniti alloys for my Maxima for winter use, my stock are 19"s and I wanted to get 17's to mount some snows on. Not too bad for $400, better than black steelies. I hope the rims look good in person, gotta drive 45 mins to get em. Then comes the decision on tires and I'm thinking a Toyo Observe garit kx.

So I made arrangements with the seller to go get these Infiniti rims for $400
View attachment 31210.

My wife was out shopping with the Envoy so I had to wait till she returned so I could use the Voy to collect the rims. While waiting for her I kept searching and started negotiating on another ad for Konig rims with Hankook Icebear W300's 101V rated. He also had the required spacers, mine is a 2010 Maxima Sport and he had them on a 2011 Maxima Sport. Got a 20 pack of lug locks too. The rubber should be good for 1-2 more seasons I think. I'll have to see how they are on ice. Seller also had Weather Tech fronts mats. I ended up to get it all for $580. I just cleaned them up and pretty happy with the deal. These rims look much better than the Infiniti's I almost bought.

Picked up a ferret. Fiance found it on Craigslist. Ive had lizards, snakes, spiders, hamsters, fish etc, etc. This is the first ferret we have had and must say its pretty cool, acts like a cat and sleeps like a dog.

That sounds like a cool collection of critters. I've seen people out walking ferrets and like how sly they look...

I miss my fish, I dont miss the work involved. Had to let go of the lizards (bearded dragons at the time) when we moved into the apt. Had a corn snake and a ball python which I sold to a friend and the spider, well that lasted a few weeks. Two hamsters turned into 30 in a short time, never again.

While doing some research I came across this article.

I found some cheap beam style ones at the local Ollies, they work good for $5, but they do skip when the windshield isnt covered in water.

Ditto. It sure was nice having 5 days off, and hitting the beach a couple of times with Jimmy and Sam. That break is just what I needed.

Hit up the pump for 3.05 this morning since it is said to be going up and surrounding places were back up to 3.19 already, but it was 3.49 last week.
