At work, sore from working out last night, but it is a welcome feeling. I'll be back at it today right after work, then to the house to get the last little bit of plaster out of the upstairs so I can put up insulation tomorrow and then drywall this weekend!

Haven't done a damn thing at work all day, that was work related.

  1. Did some research on a video game I've been playing (Soul Caliber: Lost Swords ) so I can level up more efficiently. Didn't think I'd play it more than a day or 2, so went at it with no plan... It's been a week and a half...
  2. Did some research on why I can no longer write files to the SD card in my phone, which is highly annoying.
  3. Looking at more retrofit stuff, even though my current one is far from finished (I think I need professional help. :lipsrsealed:
  4. Just got my W2 handed to me moments ago, so will be knocking out my taxes tonight after dinner :celebrate:

I assume those are 6k? You will be able to tell a huge difference with HIDs in the fogs. Maybe some of Kevin's LED headlights for the hi beams  Combine that with the 6hi mod and you are set.
Yes the new xb35s in 6k. They will have less blue tint after they break in a little bit either way I like the look. They are rated at 3200 lumen.

For sure will be looking at HIDs in fogs and Kevin's crees down the road.

Not today, but the other day. Changed my cellphone's background.

And have a bonus image of what a bit of metal polish can accomplish (and this wasn't even going my hardest at it):

I've mentioned which running board style I have around here before and people seemed a bit curious and wanted pictures, so I guess this doubles as that.

Working later today. Hanging with lil guy this morning. While he was eating breakfast I went out and switched the diode to allow me function of my fogs when my lows are on. Connected diode to high beam wire so I will have 6hi still but after adding the hids I hate the way the front looks with stock fogs.

Also did the cap mod under rear seat to power the hids at 100% all the time.

Took a test drive with new lights last night and I was very impressed. Have had the truck about a year and a half and wish I'd have done this sooner.

Upgrading my buddies stereo in his envoy, correct harness this time. Bose doesn't sound that bad with a decent head unit. [emoji13]

Going to put an alternator in a dodge. A friend and his dad have been struggling with this for days while the car is parked in a random parking lot.

Issue is, they're putting the belt on it, then trying to put it on. Can't beat it into his head that the belt is the last thing you put on because of tension and such.

Will lmao if I get it in on the first try.

That never happened. I guess they decided not to work on it today.

Now I'm just browsing forums and twiddling my thumbs.

Got my rear turns and brake light leds in yesterday while I was at work. Installed them this morning. Also ordered a set of led fogs and those came in as well. They will work for the time being until I can get some hids (or brighter leds). At least the front now looks better. Not much fog to worry about during the winter so have some time to figure out which route I'm gonna go. Will test fogs tonight to see how they do.

Video games, clearing the DVR, and puppy sitting my old roommates dogs while they are in Orlando for a day trip. When they aren't being super affectionate like they miss me or something, or giving me puppy dog eyes to get treats...

They are snuggled up next to me napping. Oh, to have a dog's life... I'm jealous.

Cleaned out and organized my parents' garage with my old man so he had get to his firewood pile easier. He has a pile that's 16ft long and 6 1/2ft tall on a platform that's a foot off the ground. That doesn't include the temporary wood pile he keeps on the back porch so my mom doesn't have to go out to far in the cold for wood. So much dang wood and he has more that we still have to process. Now probably going to take my lady out to dinner.

Busy weekend:

ImageUploadedByTapatalk1421565579.033619.jpg

Did the last three sections tonight and the first three about a week ago. I used the Harbor Fright pneumatic brake flusher. I was quit disappointed as it sucks as much as my Mityvac - beats pumping though. Still not convinced it was worth the $29.99 - 20% off. Last challenge is the rear diff fluid but that will have to wait until the Spring. The tensioner pulley was the noisy squeaker. Yeah - for $25 more I could have replaced the entire tensioner assembly but I have yet to encounter a frozen tensioner tension spring.

Oh this tops everything off - I bought this from a VW dealership this past Spring. It had 68k miles and was in immaculate condition; was a trade in. I kept hearing this wind noise. Salesman insisted it was the antenna. Sure as shit, I could feel wind blowing up. I used that as a negotiation tool as there is no way this would pass Maryland inspection. Regardless, I would get moisture blown up the inside when driving through a storm. The defogger was good enough to keep up. After pulling this apart tonight, it appears the new windshield installed by the previous owner was done in haste. I used an inspection mirror to confirm that there is NO urethane sealer/glue on the driver side bottom! Nothing! W T F! ... Fixed with some clear silicone.
