Hunted the lake shore this morning with my old man. Only things shootable were grebes and mergansers, and those aren't worth the shells to drop them. Had three blue bills think about our spread, but they stayed just too far out. Weather was too nice

In the cube again. Feeling the beginnings of a cold coming. Perfect for a Monday :hissyfit: We're expecting rain, so likely no basketball after work, probably for the best at this point. Need to make a grocery run after work, hopefully I don't forget.

If it's the same rain that came over me, expect HOURS of nonstop rain.

Yeah, forecast goes from 0% at 1pm to 70% at 2pm, and stays high until 8pm. Looking at the radar map, there's a nice big blob sitting out in the gulf, and it's probably going to roll through here slowly too. :hopeless:

I was all set to head to BK for lunch today, since I didn't have what I needed to pack a lunch. Then the receptionist announced over the PA, that they are catering in some Pipo's for the office due to the nasty weather that's headed our way. Score!! I hope they got some empanadas, I LOVE those!

I'm pretty sure it's your fault, I had BK on the brain today. :poke:

I did gorge myself though. Pulled pork, black beans, safron rice, and some bread. All I need now is a nap, which I usually take in my truck, but it's raining and I don't wanna be bothered with it. Guess I'll try to stay awake at my desk and get some work done.

Rolled over to the Verizon Plus store on my lunch break, to pick up another set top box for the soon-to-be roommate's room. I wandered right past the check in tablets and started looking at random stuff. Wasn't until I heard one of the reps call someone's name as the next customer, before I realized the goof. :duh: But they were quick, I was outta there in under 15 minutes.

Back in the office now, don't feel like working, so I'm interwebz shopping for spools of primary wire, so I can restock. Can't make up my mind what lengths and gauges I want. I really want one of those spool organizers, but then I'd feel obligated to buy tons of wiring to fill it so it looks right. :hopeless:

Edit: Think we found a winner :undecided:

I've wanted one ever since I started modding my TB and needing wiring for this, that, and the other thing. My main problem is I move a lot, like ever other year it seems, and that's one more thing to carry. And I'm looking at another move in May. :ugh: I plan to try and land a house in the next year or so, and if that's the case, I'd definitely get one to go in the garage with all my other tools and crap that currently gets stored in the spare bedroom.

I really need to organize all my electronics stuff. I'm sure I could spend a small fortune on bins, shelves and who knows what else.

I'm usually good about keeping on top of my supply so I don't run out like I did last weekend. I remember using the last of my red wire when doing the killswitch for the power folding mirrors auto feature, and saying out loud "I'll order some more when I get home..." That was over 6 months ago

6 spools but only 4 color choices in an order? What if I want 6 spools each a different color? :undecided:

I may have to get some just to have on hand. I only have some green and red left, which made it interesting when I ran all those wires for my headlights lol :blinkhuh:

Wow really, a new engine. Hopefully there is a warranty to cover that. Any details on what happened with the engine?

As for me, watching a little Moonshiners.
