Drove a friends 2015 Silverado for a couple minutes today. didn't get above 2k rpm, felt like it had tons of power, felt like a cramped cabin lengthwise though (and it's a 4-door) in the sense of: I had the seat all the way back and the pedals were uncomfortably close.
Double cab(ext cab) or crew cab?

Checking tapa and FIRE!

Juat finished a 12 hour day. Lunch was great with the Director. Free lunch always tastes good.

Early morning. Have to take the TB to the tire shop to see whats going on with the drivers rear TPMS sensor. I think it has crapped out.

Then taking the dog to the vet for his annual shots.

Had a lunch date, and a dinner date setup, but both ended up cancelling. :suicide: So on to plan B (or is it C?) Figure I'll get the EXT washed today, instead of trying to beat the rush tomorrow morning before the meet.

When I first tested my Cree LEDs, they are indeed as insanely bright as advertised at full power. Can't really do any endurance testing on my breadboard, as the pin configuration doesn't let them fully seat in the slots. So I'm gonna solder a bunch to a PCB, and do a burn test, see how warm/hot they get after running full blast for a few hours.

Got a pretty full DVR too, so there will be plenty of lazy couch time clearing out some goodies.

Work. Wasn't able to get to the junkyard yesterday, so that will be today or maybe tomorrow morning. Instead surprised the fiance with a dinner date since she had a horrible day at work. They take such advantage of her, its sad and pisses me off. She needed a date night. Practice later then some more tinkering around on the interwebs as usual

After discovering my passenger side mirror turn signal lens was broken, ordered a new one. Prices have gone up since I got my first set

LED burn test was informative. The array got fairly warm to the touch after running for 2 hours straight @ 14.4V. But my power supply was much warmer. Did witness the beginnings of thermal runaway. Will definitely be using current limiters with these.

Moved back in project rotation behind the Trailblazer and Blazer. Headgasket is shot...plus the engine is miled out...so I'm working on getting ahold of a mk4 donor atm.

Lol yup...7 atm

Two Gmt400 Gmc sierras (k1500 Diesel and buying back my old K3500)
Trailblazer
S10 Blazer
Mk2 jetta
Chevy G20 camper van
Kia Sportage (blown headgaskets)

Problem is that whatever Dd I am driving at the time develops serious problems before I can work on the others and project funds go into solving said problem

I've been on the hunt for a new barber for almost two years now. Today I'm trying out a new barber that looks promising.

www.beardsgaardbarbers.com

I'm going all in and getting a beard trim, face shave and haircut. I'm hoping this will be my new home because salons and sport clip type places just isn't my cup of tea.

Brewed up 4.5 gallons of Canadian Cream Ale. My first batch of homebrew from grains instead of canned extract. Also, as a bonus, I got to try out my newly built all electric homebrew set-up. Everything ran pretty smoothly, pretty happy dude!

Changed the oil/oil filter with Mobil1, just like the TB, and rotated the tires on the F150. Took care of the yard work.

Have to run to Auto Zone to get rid of 12qts of oil. Hitting up Chick fil a for dinner, then time for some NCAAF. Buckeyes kick off at 2000. O-H....

About to change the oil in the TB, light isn't on but its probably got around 5k miles on it and about to drive it 900 miles next weekend. Might rotate tires since you reminded me of that David.
