Thats another good one. Sounds like people cannot communicate especially if they live near each other. If another member was working on my TB, I sure as hell would be there with them turning a wrench or at least holding a flashlight

Funny you posted that, I actually stumbled across the Scammer Members section a couple weeks ago by accident. They are quite entertaining at the least and some of the MEMEs the guys use are hilarious. Just adding gas to the fire :rotfl:

Yeah, that's a pretty big FAIL by both parties. If both of you don't know what you're doing, you shouldn't be doing it. If putting things together doesn't seem right, don't keep going and cross your fingers, go back to how it was when it worked. :hopeless: But it is pretty damn entertaining when all else is quiet.

Couldn't help but notice the guy that handed his keys over is from Green Bay.
Did I miss FF build thread or mod list that gave him the knowledge/rep to be able to complete that job ? Two dudes from sconny taking their mistakes public.

It's too bad they didn't take their issues to the forum as they were happening. Wouldn't that have prevented this? Packer fans

I did notice the Green Bay issue, but considering the Bears' performances this year... I opted not to say anything :ugh:

I don't remember seeing FF's build thread either, but from a number of the comments, he's tried to mod his motor on more than 1 occasion which resulted in requiring a new one. Personally, that's all I would need to know to avoid that whole scenario. But some people are hard headed.

:iagree: though, posting for help would have been a smarter way to go. Throw up some pics, and let more eyes take a look. I know squat about engine internals, but apparently everyone else saw almost immediately that the timing marks were off.

Had to skip the gym today to come into work early to present my presentation to my Director. All the overtime this month will be on the pay check just before Christmas :celebrate: (Overtime pay is a month behind here  )

I did see a couple comments from members saying, "So technically this is the third engine that FF has destroyed" :rotfl: $6k for a rebuild seems expensive. You would think you could get a brand new crate engine for a little more than that.

So i went back to see if there were any updates to the "FF scammed me" Thread and starting poking around because I was thinking about joining...THINKING about it. You guys may want to sit down for this.... :deal:

I was thinking about joining the site and noticed all the ads looked a lot like trailvoy, i looked at the moderators page and found something very interesting. The top listed Moderator is Autoguide-dot-com!!!!

When I do a "whois" domain registration query to see who's registered the domain, that data base used to explicitly tell people it was Rob Laidlaw at Vertical Scope behind it, now they're trying to HIDE THE TRUTH and use a domain anonymizing service to conceal who they are. But the DNS entry for the domain shows the truth:

Name Server: NAME1.AUTOFORUMS.COM
Name Server: NAME2.AUTOFORUMS.COM
Name Server: NAME3.AUTOFORUMS.COM

Fking Vertical Scope. :Banghead:

I don't Know Tony at all, but it seems to me after what happened to trailvoy he would avoid selling out to vertical scope?? :nono:

That place is doomed to hell....

Counting down to quitting time. Got an appointment after work for a guy to get an estimate on fixing a few cracked window panes at the crib. After that, time for some football!!

TBSSOwners have been removed from listing as a community resource site here, now their profits are being sucked north of the border to Toronto. That is not a member-friendly development, no matter how Vertical Scope tries to spin it.

Their poor members have no idea how hot the pot they're in is about to get.

Hell no! These panes were cracked when I moved in, put them on the inspection checklist and they didn't do anything about it. Just like the other stuff around here. But when the investors came to check out the place, I pointed out the broken windows, which I think were discouraging. I got a call from some lady after the first realtor came through, to set something up to fix them but she never followed through. This dude said they told him there was 1 pane, when there's 4. He just laughed, since that means more money for him.

I was going to do that on my Camaro but the bulbs go in from the bottom, so the projector-like end on those would be pointed at the top of the housing.

Yea I lucked out there. Mine point forward. So while the light output will be minimal, you'll still see them clearlym
