Rolled out of bed late today. Found a killer deal on a new basketball, which I was sorely in need of, online only price of $10. Current one, I've had since about 1994, most of the 'leather' has worn off and there's very little grip left. Picked that up and was home in time for the early afternoon games.

Yeah, bought it when I went off to college (I know I just dated myself ) It hadn't been getting any use from about 2002 until last year when I started playing again. It looked in great shape until last fall, then all the leather started flaking off. The park we play at is building some indoor courts, which will be good for weather in the summer, wear and tear on both our joints and basketballs. This one's rubber though, so I won't have to worry about that.

Jumped on a 7 gallon gaterade cooler from kijiji today. Gonna mod it into a mash tun for my homebrewery. Switching from canned extract to all grain should improve quality and reduce costs.
