Getting ready to replace many of the incandencant exterior bulbs with LED versions. Such as turn signals, reverse, marker lamps and fog lights. Gonna keep the headlights and high beams standard for now but install new ones since I will have the housing off anyway

update : Got the 194 LED bulbs installed in the Mirrors. And these bulbs were rated Canbus approved. No hyper flash at all. Also took the time to paint the top of the light housing with white model paint thinking to would help reflect some more light. What a nice brighter difference.

Had a busy day off today. Spent the morning and early afternoon working on my daughter's Escape. Did another spill and fill on the transmission. The fluid is looking quite good now so I'll wait a few more thousand km before touching it again. I worked like a dog getting the swaybar bushings and end links put on. Not complicated but took a lot of up and down and force. Managed to not have to cut any links off. She drives pretty nice now!

We had a bit of snow, enough to get the sleds to the trails. It was garbage hard but still fun to get out. I then took the quad out and sank it. Still lots of fun!

update : had to install the new Turn Signal replay as the 3157 LEDS in the headlight housings caused the hyper flash. all fixed now. Interesting thing tho, I found a hidden toggle switch mounted in recessed part of the access panel. Had the truck for 10 years and over 200k miles and never saw this before. Thru the switch and the truck still starts and everything works. so no idea as have not traced the wires. I guess I have a new tinker project .. lol

Last day at home with Mum. We have to leave around 7:15 tomorrow morning for the airport.

It was good to visit but I'm kind of looking forward to getting back to Ohio...yeah, I know, right?
