Watching a lot of car shows as I do I've noticed that some trends never seem to die. I thought that I'd start a tread not specific to vehicles but in general.
So just state your observations and a short reason why.
Example:
1. Flame paint jobs- It's not 1950 anymore.
2. High Fives- You can HF the doctor after a delivering a healthy baby but, not after removing a stubborn bolt (car shows are notorious for this).

Where shall I start?

Headlight eyelashes
Stick figure family stickers
HID in regular headlight housings
Baby on board stickers
I hate <Chevy/Ford/Chrysler/etc.> stickers
I love my <insert whatever gives you a boner> stickers
Taillight covers so dark you can't see them
Rolling coal
Drunk Drivers

I'll stop here and give others the chance to vent.

People driving with high-beams on an refusing to turn them off when you flash them.
This just results in me upping-the-anty using the quad-beams on 'em.

Pinstriping for the sake of Pinstriping.....I can see the function of pinstriping to accent body lines but, why would you ever want something like this, anywhere?Pinstriping-Artists-Eyeball-Steve-Kafka-Designs.jpg

Wearing ball caps backwards (diehards...IT'S OVER!) .....unless you are riding in a convertible, speed boat or kissing your Grandmother ...That's it!
Tip: at an actual Ball Game it is imperative that you wear your cap as intended...unless of course you like burning your Retinas out.

What about the fuzzy dice still hanging from the rear view mirror? I still see them at least once a year. The '60's are long gone!
Hey the 55 has them hanging from the mirror lol. They're also probably period dice lol.
Funny stuff, I dislike jerks with kids in back. Slow down, how much faster you think you are going to arrive by trying to take out everything around you?
So you were the guy doing 25 in a 50 on my way to work this morning?

The whole big problem that isn't a problem thing needs to disappear like a vacuum leak for example..

No Sir, I too like to do 80-85 but when they sit on your back bumper and zig and cut off people it is a little much.

People that are so anxious to inch up to the talk box at the drive-thu that they don't realize that their fender in front of the box is triggering an order request.....which of course, they can't hear.....they need to go away.

People that pretend to understand something you're discussing in a conversation, when you know they clearly have no experience or clue about such.
I.e, when talking about cars or firearms with 98% of the people I work with...

People who assume every autoparts store employee actually knows what they're talking about, and those that take their advice without a second opinion from a credible source.

People that are too lazy to delete their sold items on craigslist. Stop getting my hopes up for nothing.
