Sometimes when they do that when I need to make a left turn, I'll go behind them. Or, if they not far enough forward, I'll drive toward their side.

I thought this was interesting... Standing outside my work on the phone today and started looking at the employee cars. I am in my 30s and in the restaurant business. We have many age ranges/different types of people there. Only 2 American cars in the lot today out of 16. I have been driving my subaru lately so I count against the number also...

1- Pontiac Bonneville
1- Chevy Cavalier
1- Lexus ES
2- Kia SUVs
1- Kia rio
3- Toyota Corollas
2- Subaru foresters (red one's mine)
2- Hyundai sedans
1- Mazda 3
2- Honda Accords

Not that crazy/unusual I guess, but it just got me thinking about the auto industry and how dominant the Asian imports are in some places...

I think that it has become fashionable to Dis any vehicle that denotes American origin.I don't know why but, even shows like Car Week or Car Talk will always bias toward foreign makes. Personally I have had bad luck with three Maximas, our latest second vehicle is an 08 Malibu LTZ and the check engine light has never come on in 4 years. It has been DIY guys dream and still all I seem to hear is Camray,Accord,etc.....go figure

My brother had turned into an "imports rule domestics suck" type person for some reason. To be fair, his first two imports were decent vehicles with little issue. His third though... :lipsrsealed: Altima blew apart the transmission before 100k miles. Literally blew it to pieces across the roadway. Not to mention all the other issues it had. Due to a strange design on his family hauler Toyota Sienna rodents have twice stuffed his timing belt cover with nest material and broken the belt (side note, I'll never buy a car with a timing belt regardless of who makes it, STUPID idea if you ask me to rely on a belt to not destroy your motor).

His daily driver is now a Chevy Malibu (forget the year, 07 I think?) and aside from a bluetooth software glitch that he hasn't gotten the update for yet it has so far been a good car to him and he really likes it a lot ("can't believe I said that" was his next comment as he used to "hate" on Chevy just to poke fun at me lol).

Saw this on the way home this afternoon. You KNOW you got some messy ass kids when you keep a roll of paper towels in the back window... :hopeless:

Maybe it is to keep their windows clean... There is an umbrella back there too.

After coming back to this thread several times, I am going with that the paper towels are to dry off the umbrella when whoever gets back in. White umbrella, accord, in Fla? Because shaking it off and tossing it on the floor would dirty it. And can't have a black umbrella because everyone else does. But I drive an accord. Keepin it classy.

The wife keeps her pink Victoria Secret umbrella in her white F-150 laying on her Mossy Oak seat covers

Where do you put it when you have to drive?

Saw this guy as I was zipping down highway 61 (for all you Dylan fans) and words can not describe my reaction. He was limping along and I hit 3rd gear for a down shift, her car, and asked her to snap a pic for me. She did well judging by the fact he hit it when he saw some blonde gal taking a pic of his ________(? help me out here lol). On the way to the scrap yard is my guess, metal plant at the exit he took.

I have always thought the new explorer and range rover sport look way too much alike. I didn't realize HOW much until I saw these 2 pics in the local paper the Cincinnati Enquirer-now proudly made in Columbus, oh :sadcry:

Anyone else see this? Also I have searched and searched and don't see anything online about these being the same platform.

I always assumed they are built on the same platform. Everytime I see a LR I think how do you like paying for an overpriced Ford.
