Truly random, went to put the recyclables out this morning and saw something on the ground in front of the truck...
On closer look, it was a baby turtle. Took him to the back yard and put him by the shed where there was plenty of brush cover.

So it's that time again to renew the tags on the EXT. I usually do it online, and go for 2 years at a time. County website has changed a lil bit, so I had to pay closer attention to what the screens were saying, then I noticed that they have the Trailblazer listed as a damn station wagon.

A truck driver escaped uninjured after two Duke metal/concrete poles weighing more than 5,000 pounds were thrown through the cab of his tractor-trailer.

At least one pole smashed through the windshield and cab of a semi-truck on Interstate 275 in Tampa.
The truck driver, a 33-year-old Lake Wales man, then slammed on his brakes to avoid a crash. When the trucker hit the brakes, the two poles broke loose from tiedowns on the trailer. The two poles slammed through the cab of the tractor-trailer and out the windshield of the car.
Both poles ended up with one end on the ground and the other still in the cab of the tractor-trailer.
The driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured in the accident.
