Swapped in a used starter since the one we installed months ago decided to start crapping out...which led to having to rebuild a ujoint....said ujoint came apart when pulling the front shafts to remove the inspection cover...after that I installed the led bar I got for Christmas.

Finally got all the butyl off my bezels. Man, you guys shoulda told me how much doing this sucked! Wiped them down with acetone to clean and prep them for paint. Some of the areas where there was butyl are now hazy, but the tackiness is gone, so I guess that's good? Got the first coat laid down, will see how it looks after 2 more.

Thanks Capote and Manns! I'm not doing switchbacks because the delay is too much for my liking.
Anytime brother. Delay isn't much Ryan... Plus it more than likely varies from brand to brand.

I had switchbacks for 6 months and got bored with them. I love the amber look with our headlights.

If you replace the main front turn signals with LEDs, you need a 3157. The side markers are 194. If you have mirror turn signals, they are 194 as well.

If you do LEDs in the main turn signal, you will a 6 Ohm 50w resistor on each side. I believe you need resistors for LEDs in the tail lights as well.

I quite enjoy mine still [emoji4]

Yes, you'd need resistors is the rear if you have LEDs back there

Just saying, I wouldn't get leds for headlights.. HIDs all the way, plus they're half the price of leds for the headlights. If you put them in the high beams too, you'll want the 4/6 hi mod which can be done for $2.

-and you should only need resistors on one end, front or rear.

I agree. HIDs in the low beams and Cree LEDs in the hi beams. Due to warm up time and HIDs not liking to be flashed is why Crees are a good option for hi beams. 4/6 hi mod is definitely a nice addition and cheaply done. You will also need to do the cap mod or DRL killer if you go with HIDs or Crees in the low beams.

You only need resistors for turn signals to prevent hyper flash. You will need two resistors for the main turn signals in the front and two in the rear. You do not need resistors for the side marker turn signals or the mirror turn signals if you have them.

Yup! Don't want the hassle of HID's. Having to wire, and position 'em. I'm more of a plug n play guy.
HIDs aren't a hassle dude, especially if you get Morimoto's, those seen to work out pretty well for a lot of guys. Personally I don't have those because because they don't have the temps I want. HIDs are plug and play though, only added deal is the wiring harness for the Ballasts and of coarse the Ballasts

I have Kensun's myself, I have had 3 sets as a matter of fact, had 10K's from my Yukon, then I got 12K (low) & 15K (high) for the TB. Only recently I have had an issue with my drivers side not firing during DRL mode

They have a two year warranty and I had a hiccup in a ballast once and they sent me an entire free kit that I gave to matt and when he said one of his ballasts was messing up they shipped out a new one all free I stand by them great customer service and I still use all six of there ballasts to runs my Morimoto bulbs in the projectors no problems so far[emoji106]

Their ballasts are tough too, when I had my headlights out the other day I noticed my passenger side ballasts for both bulbs were hanging out in the open behind the bumper cover. I don't know how long they have slipped out and been hanging there
