Practice makes perfect.
The first step is always the hardest, admitting you need the skills is even harder. Good for you.

I awoke this morning sweating profusely and had a really bad cramp in my right calf muscle. I had been dreaming of working on a mod and the cops wanted my TB really bad to the point where I had to run. I was flooring the gas pedal so hard in my dream that I must have given myself the cramp in the calf muscle.

I need help

It's not as hard as most people who haven't done it before think. Plus it's relatively cheap in terms of equipment and supplies. Anything with electrical components that breaks or wears out, is an instant test bench to practice on.

Problem is Good thing is, once you learn it, it opens the door to a lot more possibilities for mods. :wooot:

I started soldering when I was about 12. I learned by playing with small projects in a book soldering switches and led to boards, electric Christmas ornaments etc. Now I have actual formal training on the subject but I have been soldering for almost 20 years. Just get a soldering gun and some project kits online or at radio shack and follow the instructions.

There are hundreds of different kits similar to this one, they are awesome for learning to solder. Also you can attend the university of YouTube
